I needed a towbar fitted fast to my Landrover while in KZN. Of all the places, these guys went out of their way, even helping me find a trailer company. I would highly recommend them for customer service and professionalism.
I needed to find a company to dry out a pool shell before tiling. Man - I was impressed with this guy. He was on time - nothing was too much trouble - and we inconvenienced him a few times but never a complaint. I was a bit skeptical as he is a small company - but I would use him again for sure. AND his price was half the otehr guys we contacted.
I would be careful paying a deposit or any money to this company. My experience has been that its very hard to get your money back if you dont proceed with a purchase. They come with all sorts of what I belive to be excuses and requests for me to send a screenshot of my account and balance etc when they can just pull it up themselves. Then they ask me to mail an escalations email address that doesnt work. Pity - I bought a car a few years ago and the experience was great - but there is rumour that they are battling financially - so maybe they can't repay...... just be careful
I hope these guys keep up the good work. We look after a lot of homes - and I find their service and attentiveness well above average. And they appear to have decent business ethics in terms of not overcharging my clients - so many service providers tend to be overcharging in the electrical/plumbing game because the clients generally don't know much about those sorts of repairs....
I would STRONGLY advise anyone looking for a hosting company to look elsewhere. All I can say is that these guys are consistent - from day 1 a few years ago the service has been utterly atrocious. It's almost like the people manning the help desk enjoy people's suffering - or just cant be bothered to help if it involves anything more than cutting and pasting a reply. Don't bother describing your issue in great and comprehensive detail - because the person will just paste an irrelevant reply. And then - when you have a problem after hours - well - that is pretty tough luck. Because the WatsApp help line is discontinued/offline. The "chat' says most replies come within 15 minutes. No they don't - the help chatline might be answered one on 10 attempts. And emailing support will take at least a day for a reply. So you will sit with a problem that could cost you a lot of money - and especially if its after hours you will just have to accept it. Also - before you join this company - try to find a landline number on their site. You can't. I eventually found if by Googling. And then finally actually got a person to help. I've heard management purposefully removed it as a policy. And actually - the poor lady who helped was better than average and the problem was eventually found. She did point out that there had been issues with their mail servers. But ya think they could have taken the trouble to alert their valued customers to that on the "Network Status" page. Of course not. Its more fun to let the customers try fix the problem on their side when the problem is caused by 1-Grid. So when you have a problem there is a lovely tool that tells you your settings - and all you need do it enter your email address. But can you believe it - it only gives the incoming settings. It has a line that says Outgoing Settings. But there's some error and theres nothing below that. Then scroll down and it tells you if that doesn't work - try these alternate settings. But it leaves you to guess a whole lot of tick boxes that Outlook asks. I had my whole website offline for a month earlier this year - and their backups somehow wouldn't restore. I should have left 1-Grid then - because my desperate pleas for help were also treated as a nuisance. I could keep going on - but maybe log on to their site and navigate to support and then there's a lovely section that says you should just leave your details and we'll call right back. You guessed it - there's nowhere to leave your details.... If your website/domain is important to you - AVOID 1-GRID at all costs.
If I buy a car again, I will just go straight to WeBuyCars. What a pleasure from start to finish - Brandon de Pinto who went a few extra miles on sales and sorting the car out in time for my daughter's birthday and Debbie who made all the paperwork quick and easy. And a warehouse with almost too many cars to choose from. Well done guys.
I am an agent/realtor who sold an apartment in a block built by WBHO - and am really pleasantly surprised by the amazing service I have received twice from their gentleman named Patrick who attends to snags - literally many many months after handover, and even an issue that they could have declined to attend to. I have often found builders/developers reluctant to take responsibility for issues, but not these guys. Wish more companies had their ethical approach.

I took a pretty old Salt Chlorinator to this manufacturer to repair - a few components had blown on the PC board. Imagine my surprise when they repaired it while I waited, and then no charge for the repairs? That's how it should be - and now they will be the only company I use and recommend...
There is so much choice these days when buying PC gear online - but I find it easier to ask Suzanne if the item is not listed on their site, and she will find it and supply it at a very competitive price...
