Vegan Dishes are such a Healthy !wOw! World Class
Just had The Mediterranean Bowl of the century - exploding with flavours and textures - spectacular! Service to match - compliments to Simon!
The Best Siciliana Pizza in all of SA! From the wood-burning angle to the base to the last sprinkle of Marjoram, the best quality ingredients and, of course, a Pizza Chef with more than enough of what it takes!! Yes, I have been to all - from the most popular and most expensive to the commercialised and 'less noteworthy' and I will certainly not order my Siciliana at any establishment other than Mario's Pizzeria, 46 Shelton Avenue, Harmelia - right on the edge of Edenvale.
A star for friendly and professional assistance and a second for packaging and unfortunately this is where it ends. We have fallen out of love with Geldhof and we really hope it was just a "Seasonal" temporary glitch but there is no longer any difference (in taste) between this once awesome brand and the usual standard supermarket brands. Despite the variety of fillings, the chocolate was just sugar and absolutely no chocolate taste there. We only made one purchase in December which is way below our average for this establishment and we really hope this was not a sign of a change in recipe or drop in level of quality.
Woolworths Eastrand Mall Food Market well worth steering clear from - queue is unbearably long anytime from 14h30 onwards with no interest from management. Coffee shop has lovely and friendly staff and a wonderful chef but they are constantly out of stock because they don't have any support from the Food Market - for e.g. vegetarian meals a no-no because they never have all the ingredients they require for a decent cooked vegetarian proteien meal and, for over a month now, we are unable to drink ANY kind of soda because the Food Market cannot supply same . . . unbelievable - to put the cherry on top - we have been outright told by the coffee shop manager, that this will continue for another 6 weeks "at least" - 'ludicrous' . . .
I urgently need only 2 copy invoices which are on the Mahindra system but am being told this will take en entire week because the lady at the Workshop claims that it is a mission to access their Archive after financial year-end. Needless to say - this is unacceptable.
So disappointed - no warm meals for vegetarians on the Harvest Table - meat eaters able to choose from at least two (mostly three) beautiful warm proteien meals (Lasagna; Hunter's Stew; Creamy Mushroom Chicken etc. etc.) whilst vegetarians have to accept the fact that they shall choose from the vegetable side dishes to try and make a meal out of it - come on guys!
Thanks, Debt Rescue, for looking after my 74 year old mom as if she was your own!
As a vegetarian - appreciate Pieman's vegetable curry pie - but not anymore - thought it's a temporary glitch but clearly they have settled for inferior brand of spice - terrible - bitter after taste and more than just a taste impact on the tongue - awful! Our third (and certainly the last) purchase.
Being very health conscious, for months, I have been spotting (and resisting:) Clicks' D'licious brand of Chocolate Wafer Sticks but approximately 3 weeks ago, I decided to purchase a tin to enjoy at the office - needless to say, I looked forward to enjoying the same quality I grew to become used to for this particular item and particularly when purchased in the D'licious brand. Unfortunately, that day would be the exception and little did I know that, upon attempting to return same, I would be sadly and utterly discounted, discriminated against and belittled. Upon discovering that the quality of the product had dropped to a shocking level, I knew that, given the fact that I am rarely positioned to take lunch and have scores of daily errands after work, I would have to resort to two steps i.e. first bringing this to Clicks' attention on their website and then attempt to grab the tin (less exactly 3 wafer sticks) and rush to Clicks to get a refund - I did not even stress one tad about not having taken the till slip when I purchased the product, for I know that D'Licious is a brand exclusive to Clicks, so any Clicks store would have no doubt as to who it was purchased from and I presumed, they would, by scanning the tin, also be able to see that it was purchase from their branch. The result: 1. I was accused of returning a tin which I must have gotten for free - apparently there was some kind of sale at some stage (I never keep watch of sales because of my limited time) where one would receive a free tin for every two purchased. 2. I was told that I am forced to exchange the tin for another product. 3. I was discriminated agains just because I over-estimated their system by not having taken a till slip when I purchase my long-awaited one tin of Chocolate Wafers. So, I left the tin in the hands of the junior manager and left the store and, yes, I certainly feel robbed, be-littled and treated like a criminal for returning something I apparently got for free - would you ever support an organisation who believes till slips take priority over customers' needs for quality, consistency and humane treatment? Name of the (apparently) senior manager on the floor is Vicky Govender.
