Rage online advertises special prices without stipulating at any juncture that they are "online only" specials. When you go in-store - the prices differ. The failure to abide by the Consumer Protection legislation is quite disgusting. Their head office takes zero responsibility and does not care to honour their pricing. Pathetic!
***** BY *******! We were charged over R3000 for a change of a door lock. This lock broke and was replaced by the business. The replacement lock broke as well after 4 months. When I contacted the handyman of this business that attended to change the locks, he denied that his company would have ever billed us accordingly. Invoice came from a "Gauteng Mobile Services & Repairs" - no registration number. In retrospect, I should not have paid the invoice at all and they could have claimed it from me through a legal route - would have cost them more :) Lesson Learned We now simply got a lock from Builders Warehouse and installed it on our own.
Takealot's sheer lack of consideration, drawn out delays and blatant failure to revert to customers is atrocious! My order had to be cancelled due to the Civil Unrest in KZN at the time. However, Takealot simply failed to revert to me regarding whether they were operating again or not - I had to find this out through some third party whose order was set to be delivered to them! I had spent over 1 month trying to get a single order complete, which is still incomplete. Upon trying to re-order, one of my items were out of stock. The delay by Takealot was simply never address nor remedied! The online assistants are utterly incompetent!! They fail to respond to direct queries and if they do reply, their replies are quite pointless. I had enquired, TWICE, whether the "Free Delivery on First Order" would be revisited when I re-order as the cancellation was due to unforeseen circumstances - no definitive assistance on same, no attempt whatsoever to ensure this is revisited. Nightmare of an experience from pathetic employees of a seemingly pathetic online company.
I'd ordered a Garlic Roll & Halloumi - nothing too complex. Get home to find the smallest Garlic Roll I could possibly imagine. And even worse, the most tiny portion of Halloumi (ie: 3 tiny strips) - for R10.

Please note, not to make any comparisons, but you could get a \small meal\" for that price at KFC!

Furthermore, the standard of Nandos has seriously dropped over the years. This was definitely the last straw.
Kindly request, if you require pictures of that dreadful Halloumi - which I was sure to take_with a reminder to never return to Nandos.. _('_')_/"
