What is the point of online service if your online service sux? So i ordered some building materials online that was delivered on the 16/02/2026. The problem is that the wrong lengths were delivered. If you order a 3m gum pole you would expect the building experts to know a 3m pole from a 2.4m pole but apparently not! The driver apologized about the incorrect order but assured they would deliver the correct stock later that same day. The next day i phone the branch where the order was dispatched from only to be told by a gentleman called Aza that the delivery is scheduled for the 20th. If this doesn't take the convenience out of convenience then i don't know. As per most service providers in Port Elizabeth no one actually gives a Sh..... This includes the Builders group UNFORTUNATELY
Makro Port Elizabeth has a absolutely useless returns department. Returned a cadac gas burner that was defective over two weeks ago and have had no feedback. Simply can not get anyone at Makro to answer their phones. So I phoned the company that the burner was sent to for assessment and repairs but they carry no knowledge of the product being sent to them. Repair I'd 2913744. Not sure what one has to do to get good service in this place as Makro sure is lacking in that department. Thanks for nothing Makro.
I unfortunately did not read the reviews on here prior to purchasing a vehicle from MOM pre owned. When dealing with the sales person I was assured the vehicle I ended up purchasing only had one previous owner and it had never been in any accidents. Less than a year of owning the vehicle things started to go very wrong. In looking into the service history I came across several insurance quotations for a accident the vehicle was involved in. When questioning the sales person about this he basically told me they don't do checks on the vehicles and take the previous owners word. They do not take responsibility and the warranty they sell you with the vehicle proves to be useless when trying to claim from it.Tens of thousands of Rands later we are considering taking this matter to the relevant ombudsman as this seems like a *****ulent transaction. As per the other complaints on here I would not buy from these guys again.
Trellidor claims to be the best in the business but from my experience all I know is that they are the most expensive with a product no better than any of their rivals. When it comes to the installation and after sales service they are utter *******. In installing their overpriced gates they managed to damage our blinds as well as our alarm system. They somehow managed to tamper with the anti tamper switch on our alarms control panel where I incurred costs to have this repaired. They also did not think it necessary to tidy up their work and left huge unsightly gaps between their product and the ceiling and are full of false promises when it comes to sorting this out. My advice to anyone reading this is to save yourself the frustration and rather go with the other company.
Not sure what more can be said about Road Protect. Tamica Veale and all the other ladies I have dealt with are brilliant. In all my 43 years on earth I have never experienced such a high quality of service. Thank you!!!!!
Takealot has grown too fast and now puts profits before people. We ordered an intex pool filter a while ago and once opened we realised a lot of the connectors were missing. The instruction manual clearly indicates all the parts and where they go yet of the 4 pieces we only received one. Our rerurn was logged MRRN-47YZG-ZK5J. On the 3rd of December we received am message that says the product is not elegible for return and the return is now concluded. I do not know how it is concluded as we have no pump and no refund?? Maybe its just me.... This is now the 3rd order from Takelot we have received with missing pieces. Now that the pandemic is over people should consider moving on from takealot or give their competitors a try. I'm still waiting for feedback from takealot. Really poor show.
I Would like to thank Tamica Veale and Chante Haywood for exceptional service received in the renewal of my car licence. Quick to respond to and resolve any queries and highly effective at doing what they do. Furthermore Tamica has in the past intervened when i was dealing with Tiger Wheel & Tyre and ended up saving me hundreds of rands when it was the management at Tiger Wheel & Tyre who were at fault and uninformed about their own products. What Road Protect offers is a lot of piece of mind for a small monthly fee... Thank you!!
It is not often that I am able to compliment a company on outstanding service delivery but today I would like to do just that. Under normal circumstances it is a absolute nightmare trying to renew your car license at the post office and with the pandemic it is now far worse. That's is if you can actually find a post office that hasn't closed its doors yet. The staff at Road Protect are extremely efficient and a BIG thank you to Tamica, Anja and every one else I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Never again will I have to worry about outstanding traffic fines I am not even aware of or trying to renew my car license when the post offices have gone offline. I highly recommend Road Protect to anyone looking to take the stress and anxiety out of long hours of queuing at either the post office or traffic department and that's just a few of the benefits you get when signing up with them. IF ONLY I KNEW ABOUT THIS COMPANY SOONER!!!!
So on July 31st i for the first time placed an online order with Builders Warehouse. The delivery date given was Monday 3rd August. The 3rd of August came and went and still no delivery. They say track your order online but this service is busted. They say talk to us online but this link does not open and theres no way to phone a branch directly. So since yesterday i have now spoken with 3 individuals each saying they will look into it and get back to me really soon. The last two persons being a Chenay and a Ashley. So it seems the message got as far as management and no further. No calls have been returned regarding the delivery date so i guess tomorrow i will have to try again. Bottom line here is Builders Warehouse is no Takealot when it comes to e commerce. They should go back to the 20th century if they cant even get this right! My point being, if you were thinking of purchasing something from them online, dont go there! Order number for any person in management that gives a f... is 2006820956
My wife purchased toddler winter clothing online for our daughter several weeks ago. (Almost two months) This is a fairly big order and to date we are still waiting for delivery. I am aware there will be a backlog with the lock down but these guys can not be reached or maybe they just dont want to be reached. If this company is serious about wanting to turn their business around one would really expect much higher levels of service and communication. I honestly hope this issue will be resolved as winter is here and our daughter has outgrown all last years clothing.
