I recently took my vehicle to Dekra Randburg for an inspection, and the experience was highly disappointing. I paid R666 for a report in which they rated my car's interior as 'unacceptable', citing only that the aircon wasn't getting cold. After checking it myself, I found the aircon to be working fine—it just needed a gas refill. This minor issue does not justify an "unacceptable" rating for the entire interior, and their inaccurate report led to my applications with Bolt and Uber being declined, impacting my ability to earn an income. The incompetence in accurately assessing the car has cost me time, money, and potential job opportunities. I would not recommend their services if you're looking for a reliable and fair assessment of your vehicle.
I bought 2 investment properties in Balwins Properties, Kikuyu in Midrand, then placed those on Airbnb. A few years after purchase, the estate lodges a law on short-term letting and the burning of it. As unfair as this is, it caused me to alter my business model and decline any requests for SHORT-TERM LEASES. BAU. Weeks go by, I receive a penalty fee from the Estate manager, captioned “Your unit is still on Airbnb, hence the fine”. Correct me if I'm wrong but that wasn’t the agreement. But yes, the property was still on Airbnb, but declined short-term stays, as they demanded. I asked my “TRUSTED LAWYERS”😒 to pose a simple question to the Estate manager because my emails went unanswered… …“Is the estate disputing Airbnb, as a platform or Short term letting”. I constantly have to contact my “Trusted Lawyer” Scorpion Legals’ Maphelo Dube, to get feedback on what the Estate managers are saying. He’s either too busy or not available. It’s been a week and my “Trusted Lawyers” still haven’t gotten back to me. Seems their too busy… I’ve paid the penalty fee. Now I’m just looking to let people learn from my experiences. Me and a friend were looking for an apartment, eventually came across an apartment managed by Rindi Estate Agents. We tried contacting them on two different occasions, they didn't reply back to our email, we finally got a hold of the agent the apartment is under, Kedi. Told her we need the place ASAP, she was totally fine with that and said she just needs a few of our credentials and promised us that by Tuesday the apartment would be ready for us to move in. On the Tuesday we try calling her atlas three time she doesn't answer her phone, we contact the company and they put us on hold just to say \we'll call you back\" which they never did. On this very Tuesday we contact her once more to get intel as to whats going on, she tells us there's a couple more things she needs to send for us to fill in, otherwise we can't move in. So now we can only move in on a Wednesday, is what she says. On Wednesday, yet again we have to contact her for the keys to the apartment she promised, apparently there was more stuff to fill in. Today is Thursday, everything she wants is filled in, everything is done, I ask for the keys, tell her how incompetent she is, she shits on me then hangs up the phone... "
