I have received e-mails from nadz@telkomsa.net and from elijah@telkomsa.net with hyperlinks linking to a website in Somalia. I have written to riskman@telkom.co.za, but they simply do nothing and do not respond.
I logged a call re telkomsa.net via 10210. They did not resolve my problem, but asked me to review their assistance by selecting 1# for call resolved, and 0# for not resolved. I selected 0#, but every time I did this I received a message that I had not made any selection. Is this how telkomsa.net reviews their service?? That you can only select 1# ?
Attempting to contact this company to inform them that someone is using their e-mail address ecotelpremierlodge@telkomsa.net to send e-mails with suspicious links, but the person who answered the phone was not very helpful, didn't want to put me through to his manager.
Received a call from 087 0958961 from a lady who said she represented US Capital Investments and wanted to talk to me about investments. I don't know where she got my number, but this was obviously obtained in transgression of the POPI act. If you google the number you will see that this number belongs to a telemarketer, with a very poor reputation. Avoid at all costs.
I have been in regular communication with Lindsay at expedient re a payment that my Medical Aid made to my dentist for an account which I had already paid in full. This therefore resulted in an overpayment which I have been trying to recover. Unfortunately I have been shoved from pillar to post by Xpedient, and I have been **** to by their staff. I have now been told by my dentist that the overpayment will only be returned to me at the end of December. This is totally unacceptable as the medical aid paid the overpayment amount on the 21st. November. It should therefore have been returned by the end of November at the latest. If I could give Expedient a score of zero I would.
On 5 February 2024 I submitted a review "No reply from CoCT Electricity Dept. - useless!" Follow-up on this - yesterday 27 May 2024 I received an e-mail from Narriman Ajouhaar "Narriman.Ajouhaar@capetown.gov.za" with subject " Suspected SPAM". Of course I have not opened the attachments, but have attempted to contact Ms. Ajouhaar on 021-4448334 but with no response whatsoever.
The Durbanville Post Office dumps letters that are supposed to be delivered to individual persons in our complex into a single postbox. All the letters are individually addressed but the post office delivery man is simply too lazy to deliver these items into the correct postbox.
This business advertises on the internet, 'open 24 hours a day', when you call the number 079 519 8377 it asks you to leave a message, but with absolutely no response. At least have the courtesy and decency to advise your customers if you are not interested in their business.
On 9 January I submitted an application to have a prepaid electricity meter installed. After calling numerous times, I was advised to phone Narriman Ajouhaar on 021-4448334 to get the date of installation. I have on a daily basis attempted to phone Narriman on this number, but nobody ever answers this telephone. Surely it's a simple thing to advise a customer when the job will be done?
On 27 Dec. 2023 I logged a request for an invoice for November 2023 which I had not yet received. I got an automated response: VWe are experiencing high email volumes, which makes it difficult to adhere to our five-day turnaround times. "We kindly request that you use the alternative channels listed below for all urgent enquiries: • Telephone: 0860 103 089 • Email: water@capetown.gov.za • WhatsApp: 060 018 1505 • SMS your fault to: 31373 (free SMSs do not apply)" On Wednesday 3 January 2024 (still waiting for an invoice, I sent a WhatsApp message to 060 0181505. I received a response " kindly note this line is only for water technical faults." This on a WhatsApp group named "CoCT Account Queries" What a bunch of idiots!! And of course I have yet to receive a copy of my November account.
