What great service from Temoho Moloi a momentum employee. I had a burst pipe claim and resulting residual damage from repairing of pipe. Temoho handled my claim so professionally ,she was patient, understanding, helpful and handled this claim with compassion and understanding. She is a Gem within Momentum.
Outsurance Retentions department thinks im a fool. I called multiple times last week to relate my policy as they increased my premium alot, I only had windscreen chip claims and they increasing my premium by alot, had they told me that a R250 chip claim would increase my premium substantially on renewal I would have opted to pay out of pocket as the chips are not expensive. I called multiple times and spoke to different consultants , 1st consultant I spoke to was Kgomotso on the 29th August ,she advised that she needs her manager to unlock a discount, she will call me the next morning, I received no call from her, than last week Friday the 5th September, its called again spoke to a consultant cant remember her name as she spoke so much and tried to change my policy and cover even tho I said to her multiple times I only want to rerate my renewal premium ,she promised that the premium was reduced and new policy will be sent to me, I received email with no changes to renewal amount. I than called back again and spoke to Tshepi, she said she cannot assist due to windscreen chips are claims, I said if I had known It would be so high, higher than the claim amount I wouldn't have claimed for chips, Mind you I worked at outsurance for many years and know that windscreen chips are not a claim per say and shouldn't affect premium it might have changed as I left 8 years ago nevertheless, I told Tshepi that I would rather go back to my old insurer than have this, she than said don't, let me send it over to the under writing department to see what they can do ,and she will call me back the next day. No call received and only emailed me my policy with no changes to renewal amount .I am so disappointed in outsurance and its service received from the retension consultants. I'm gonna move my policy effective 1st October 2025. Guys watch out for windscreen chip claims thats how they get you.
I am a long standing momentum client and I have not experienced such disappointment the way I am feeling this week with the service from Momentum Insure and Third party claims. About two weeks ago, I got hit by another vehicle, The person is also insured by Momentum Insure. I logged the claim as I know to with my insurer Momentum Insure, provided all the information and stipulated to the consultant that im making them aware of the claim, however it must go through on the person's that hit me profile as I was not at fault when the accident happened. The other driver took full responsibility for the accident and admitted to guilt on the police report, I even provided the consultant with the other drivers policy number etc. I than was told to take my vehicle for assessment which I did, after 1 week after me calling momentum to find out what's happening they said my vehicle is a write off. I advised the consultant again that I am not claiming through my profile but through the other drivers . The consultant than says she will send me a later stating that im not claiming from my policy but from the other driver and she will refer my claim to legal. I than received a letter with the incorrect date of accident, the incorrect name(my name )and I was refered to as a HER, I emailed back pointing out the mistakes , received the letter back with my name still being wrong. I than called Legal 2 days later to find out that the consultant sent the letter to the incorrect email address within in the legal department, so my claim was never allocated or received. I than speak yo Nico from legal and she than say she sending it to the correct email and will allocate the case to the correct person. It's going for another week and I have received no feedback and yes I've called multiple times , yesterday I spoke to Sean from legal ,he advised that Benolo is handling the case and that he is sending an email to Benolo to call me to provide feedback, more than 24hrs later ,I received no call , I am so disgusted at momentum Insure. I can see now they are terrible at third party claims and there services is going down hill. If this is how third party claims is handled that I would rather look for another insurer.
Samsung gave me a R4000 voucher to use in there online store on the 11 March 2024. The terms states it can only be used on the online store. It had no expiry date stated except to use only on online store. I wanted to purchase a tv and when I try using the voucher it doesn't take. So I decided to call Samsung for them to tell me that the voucher was only for 3 months and it no longer works . The nice consultant named Simon assist me and even tried telling his manager the voucher doesn't state an expiry date or how long it's valid for but they refused. I am highly upset as this is a marketing **** , buy a Samsung s24 get a R4000 voucher doesn't say when the voucher is valid until and than when you want to use it ih sorry it doesn't work anymore only valid for 3 months. Samsung SA this is wrong
The most horrible place to ever book at. Firstly they take forever to make a reservation ,it took me 2 weeks to get someone to assist with reservation. Than finally I get a booking , pay R11600 for a weekend with a hot air balloon and horse riding. I than receive cancellation of hot air balloon due to weather and agree to taking it on Sunday instead of Saturday, than horse riding to be tomorrow Saturday, upon checking in I get told that my booking for horse riding is fully booked and that I must do it on Sunday, I have prior arrangements for Sunday , tomorrow 6th July is my anniversary, speaking to Nigel General manager the most rude , unaccomadating person in the hospitality industry. Never book at Glenburn ever , waste of time and money
I received exceptional service today from Rentions advisor Joalane Kutoane at Momentum Insure. Joalane Kutoane knows her job extremely well and was willing and welcoming to assist me above and beyond. Not only a wonderful, thoughtful and friendly advisor but understandable and intelligent. She assisted me with my query and helped me save alot of money. I am so greatful to have been welcomed by Joalane Kutoane. Fantastic service Joalane Well done Momentum Insure on hiring such excellent staff such as Joalane Kutoane. Keep up the great work
I had a claim and within 30mins my claim was resolved and I was paid out the next day- Thanks to and amazing insurer and Advisor Siphelele Zwane. Thank you Siphelele Zwane for your amazing service .
I always recieve great services from Momentums stuff, I've had a policy with them for many years and they come out the best compared to other insures. Retentions advisor Justin Louw was so friendly and kind enough to rerate my policy and save me some bucks. Thank you Justin Louw and Momentum Keep up the great services
My vehicle was stolen end of January and I put a claim for said Vehicle as it is insured with Momentum insure as all my assest are. Oratile Kgomongwe Motor Non-Drivable Claims Adviser was appointed to my claim , Oratile was professional and very helpful ,he processed my claim and kept me updated Thank you Oratile. Carley Manzoni Salvage Administrator was appointed to retrieve vehicle papers she was promt in collecting the vehicle papers same day collection. Thank u Carley. I had to call the retentions department to remove vehicle from policy , I was helped by Norman Burness Retentions adviser , such a wonderful helpful guy, he explained the process and what he needed to do to remove vehicle and sent me new schedule while I was still on a call with him. His welcoming tone ,showed that he loves his Job and willing to assist. Thank you momentum and its employees for such great service this is the reason you are my insurer of choice.
Lindiwe nkosi either doesn't read her emails or checks massages as I have been waiting for her to return my calls and respond to emails with regards to my claim CP511821MS. I am astound at the service I am receiving from momentum and its consultants as I have never experienced such service from them.
