I have been a customer of cartrack since Sep 2023 and locked into a 36 month contract so I'm unable to close my account to stop the incessant calls to sell me a tracking device which they already fitted 2 years ago....rather use Tracker or Netstar, when I was with them I never received weekly calls trying sell me Dash Cams, a second tracking unit, etc...I assume they're financial difficulty as they sound extremely desperate... a cause of concern if my car is ******. I even changed my cell number on their system but this doesn't help, they harass you on the old and new number all the time.
Horrible company. I have 2 vehicles with them for 2 years but they insist on calling me every month to sell me the basic tracking device. I have asked them at least 10 times to remove me from the marketing list, DO NOT CALL but they persist. So now when they phone I let them sell me tracking devices to my 6 fictitious vehicles, give false address, false ID, false banking details and they still don't get it. They call back to verify details...what an *********** bumnch. How can I trust them to track my vehicle if it's ****** when their basic admine is so bad. I have threatened them that I will close my accounts on the two vehicles but they have me by the ***** as they threaten cancellation penalties due to the 36 month contract....so the calls keep coming and I keep giving them false ID's, vehicle details....I'm retired so have all day to waste their time...wake up you idiots......
I have been renting cars for 40 years, over 200 in that time and never had a problem. I'm so sorry I did not go to Hello Peter before hiring a car from Avis. I reported a remote control problem with the car, it would not lock or open, took it back on a Saturday, the manager said he will get me a new car on Monday, but 7 days later still no car. If the car was ****** (VW Polo) they would have made me pay for it. I returned the car to their Rivonia branch, and Lukas inspected the car and said it was fine. The next day they called me to say that I am responsible for the stone chips on the front bumper. I thought fair wear and tear was acceptable, the car already had other marks on it. I checked 2 other similar models in their car park and found them to have the same problem. And they were old stone chips. Without any communication, they debited my CC with R2,950 week. I sent Customer Services a letter of complaint 7 days ago, NO RESPONSE. I can see a huge fight coming. I should have asked for a written report.
That is why you pay DSTV every month yourself, DO NOT let them do a debit order as when you stop the account they still ***** money out your account and it takes you days and weeks and many hours using your own airtime to fix their problems. There are other better TV services to subscribe to.
Hve registered 8 times and still the system tells me I do not have an account. When I do get in, the system gets stuck at the Checkout. When you go out of the site and back in, you are told you do not have an account, so the cycles repeats itself.....what a useless site. So many people I know want to go to the Airshow this year but can't get tickets, so the y will lose a lot of revenue and create frustrated customers that will in future just not book any show on the ticketpro site. Rather stay at home or use another site.
Watch out for this company. I called the NCR and they say they have no record of this company. Their NCR Reg number does not exist. When I asked them where they obtained my ID number, home address and contact details they say they got it from some marketing association, but could not give me the name or their contact details. When you call their number on the letterhead it goes to an answering service. Too many excuses, inconsistencies. I suspect a ****. Beware.
Horrible. I subscribed for Hosting in April 2023. After 3 weeks and 30 phone calls at my expense, Mweb could not get my Hosting site to work. So I cancelled the deal as I needed to have a host for my business then, and went elsewhere and I was connected within 24 hours. Today, 21 Sep 2023, 5 months later they want to hand me over or list my name at the credit bureau as I was supposed to give 30 days notice and pay for those 30 days. They don't get it, I never got any service from them for the 3 weeks I had an account, so I closed my account due to breach of contract, now they want to ruin my credit record for their incompetence. What a bunch of ******.
After sending a call back to Pineapple Insurance, they were fantastic in getting back to me, obtaining all my details about the Toyota Hilux Legend I wanted to insure, but that is where the great service ended. After spending 15 minutes on the phone giving the agent all my details, he sent me a preliminary quote via email. Then the next day another agent phoned to complete the quote, so I spent another 15 minutes giving all my details. Later that day another agent called wanting to confirm all the details again. He apologised and said that the previous agent had not captured all the data. The next day another agent called asking for my details again, I refused as I had already given it three times. Eventually I received the quote. As the quote was a big saving I asked Hleziphi at Pineapple to send me a list of their repairers as I wanted to check if they were RMI and Toyota approved as I had a problem with another discount insurer in the past where panelbeaters turned me away when asking for quotes as they stated “That” insurer cuts our quote to the bone and we often lose money. Hleziphi rep**** that when I submit a claim they will tell me where to go. I objected and asked for a list. He sent me a long list of panelbeaters but only for KZN. When I told him this he argued that it was a national list and stated ” The abbreviations in brackets are not cities however they mean drivable or not drivable” But when I googled the 40 odd names they were all in KZN. I asked for a national list twice after that, still no reply. I sent two emails to M**** van Heerden who was prompting me to finalise the quote from the link, that does not work by the way, and he has not responded. I sent another email to Hleziphi asking to speak to a manager and he rep**** (surprisingly) that a manager will call me shortly, that was 3 days ago. They also do not put their contact details on their emails, so very invisible. My feeling is, Pineapple are not what they seem to be, rather look elsewhere for insurance.
This company has such a bad reputation that when they send you an invite to attend with your wife, they say there is nothing to buy, it's not timeshare or points, but it is, no company name, no references, totally vague. The invite is unprofessional, no mention of the company's name, Leisure Travel International, to come to a meeting at the Apollo Hotel in Randburg and get roped into a timeshare scheme you cannot get rid of. Where did they get my personal details from, in terms of POPI they have to disclose but go silent on you when you ask. When is the government going to take action against Leisure Travel International for misleading the public and I'm sure they will entrap some poor unsuspecting honest hardworking families into a dream of wonderful overseas holidays that become so expensive and you have to keep paying the membership way into your retirement years when money is tight. Take great care with these types of organizations.
Still waiting for DTSV to get back to me after they promised to do so. They called a few days after my HelloPeter review, but the agent was unable to asisst, he did not have the answers to my simple questions (How much is your Internet through Fibre" and said he would get somebody from sales to call me back, 5 days later and I'm still waiting. Got a price from Vumatel the same day.
