I bought a sine wave inverter from the EDENVALE/MODDERFONTEIN branch in 2020. Around 7 months ago I took it back as it was running flat quickly. The told me to buy a new batter which I did. When I got home I put the inverter on charge for a few weeks then started to run my tv off of it. After 4 months and all this load shedding started I would use it late evening if we went down and the battery onlly last 50 minutes.. As I PSS is some distance away I didn't rust to talk it back, load shedding only 2 hours and 90 % of the time I was not home. I took it back two weeks ago and get told it is the battery , seriously the battery is not old and has hardly been used. They tell me it only last 500 uses, now we have not had 500 hours of load shedding or they has not been load shedding for 500 times, anyway not they want to sell me a battery that costs almost 8000 rand which is what I Paid for the inverter :-( I took back the inverter as seriously they are just making a quick turn over and guess what, the battery they gave me back does not work ?? They don't give a hoot, i wonder why it does not work? Cause they cant make money from me...We have 3 inverters at work we bought at makro 7 years back and we have not replaced one battery !!! I advise people to go to Makro and builders and stop this company milking the little people!
I ordered cell phones through Vodacom on the 27th November . Ram wanted to deliver during office hours so I gave them my office address, they said it will be delivered in 48 hours. Well they returned the phones to vodacom today, 8th December. I call vodacom and guess what, SORRY we dont have any phones left as it was Novembers deal :-( VERY DISAPPOINTED :-(
Ordered an online deal on the 27th November, got the courier reference number and sms to say it was out for delivery. Today, the 8th December I get an sms to say that the phones where returned to vodacom. I call vodacom and they sorry but the deal is off :-( and they dont have the phones anymore :-( what a SCAM, THEY WANT ME TO TAKE ANOTHER DEAL NOW THAT IS MORE EXPENSIVE!!!!! Get a good deal then call it off and guess what if you want anything else YOU HAVE TO PAY MORE!!! DO NOT DO ONLINE DEALS!!! I am off to Telkom or MTN :-D
I order a vape device online. I was going through one coil a week and I was only using the vape as a social thing at lunch times to chat to the smokers. The device was not used at all in the evenings or on weekends, it purely was a lunch time thing at work. After replacing the coil every week for three weeks running I started to think that the device was faulty. I tried for a week to get through by telephone to Vape King and eventually I got through and was told to send a email.. They refused to do a refund and said it is normal for one coil to be used a week. I did a lot of research and spoke to a lot of people who vape on a permanent basis and most of them went through one coil a month , some who did it for fun a coil lasted two months. I paid a lot of money for something that does not work correctly and it now costs me even more to replace coils every week :-( Not a happy :-( it is costly now!! If the shop was open I would of take it back the second week I had to put a new coil in!! Another company milking the gravy train.
Service was not great, car. Car had no petrol in, i had to go to the nearest petrol station. I discovered the engine was different than the one I took for a test drive, But I did not check this until a month later when I went to put petrol in and checked the oil. The car was not roadworthy and I only found that out four months after when I tried to get a car licence for another car. They then charged me another R800 for roadworthy and when I went to get the licence I was charged again for roadworthy so I paid three times for roadworthy :-( Please do not trust this people! Check the car is the same car that you first saw and paid for :-(
