Keep Deducting After Cancelation
Phoned Multichoice on 25 January 2026 to cancel my subscription that goes of every 21st of the month. I was assured that my subscription was cancelled but low and behold the debit order went of end of February again. I checked the My Dstv app and now it shows my next payment due end of March. Luckily I have recorded the phone call but now all the time it will take to sort this *** uit and hopefully get refunded just makes me furious!

I considered to paint it myself, but the friendly guys at Mutual Safes in Watloo Pretoria (Javier, Petrus, Wimpie & team) was willing to spray paint it to original colour less than what it would have cost me to buy 5 liter Hammerite or Duram & then the colour would have been not original. They even attach the original metal escutcheons around the keyholes to protect against scratching & provided me with xtra touch up paint if future scratches occur. It has now been restored to its former glory and look brand new! You are the best & everybody is so friendly, including the receptionist. Thank you MUTUAL Safes, I truly appreciate!

Top notch service & such a pleasant experience to by a car here! Maybe the best I ever experienced.. It is apparent that the Halfway Group sourced the best to work for the newly established Heyhalfway.com! Cindy the friendly administrator handled everything immediately & professionally. Jacques, the salesman is the best. Sorted some minor issues afterwards. For example he immediately arranged that I be refunded for a new battery that gave up life a week after I took delivery of the car. He even came to install a bonnet protector & applied a tricky load bay protection sticker at my home in Pretoria. You just won't beat this service! Please give everybody there a pay increase! Thanks for everyone Heyhalfway.com!

No service from Mix Telematics Africa
I have requested Matrix to downgrade from a full Matrix service to a Beame contract in my Land Cruiser. I had phoned numerous times and sent an email, but with no joy. Nobody is coming back to me to make the necessary arrangements to remove old tracker unit & install new one as explained to me. It seams if you request for a new installation like the Beame on my Etios recently, they are quick to comply & install but if you want to downgrade, they are missing in action. Complaining at Hellopeter are my last resort but I am gatvol of wasting my time with phone calls & emails and receiving no service

M-Web Fibre Woes
We commissioned M-Web to install fibre at home. The installation was done (through Frogfoot) with router & everything on 18 April 2020. It is now 21 May & we are still not activated whilst our neighbors, who requested service after our installation is hooked up within a week. I am now gatvol after my wife spent hours of time & money on the phone just to either get cut off, reach incompetent "assistants" who blame it on a mix up with Frogfoot & Vodacom. True or not, a gazillion of mails were sent and everything they requested we did and comply with. But still, we are not hooked up yet.. It just seems there is no real will to assist just nothing happens & one is time & time again forced to pick up the phone & waste time & money all over again in an effort to get it sorted but to no avail. I mean how difficult is it to just sort this out, really! And please don't blame it on the virus....

ABSA Vehicle Finance Loyalty Offering
Don't fall for the ABSA Vehicle Finance LOYALTY OFFERING where you supposedly get R1000 if you apply for new ABSA vehicle finance within 90 days after you have settled an existing vehicle finance agreement. When I followed up (Ref# 16485364) with AVF after the indicated 45 days (as the R1000 wasn't paid into my account) they told me that it is "not applicable in my case" as the finance application was handled/facilitated by the relevant car dealership (BB Motors Hatfield) and not myself in person! THIS IS ******** as this "requirement" was not listed in the T&C's regarding the Loyalty Offering as per link: https://www.absa.co.za/content/dam/south-africa/absa/pdf/Offers/terms-and-conditions/absa-vehicle-finance-loyalty-offering-TC.pdf (I hope they don't change the T&C's after the fact) Anyway, the financing is done in MY name, not the dealership. As a matter of fact, I insisted on ABSA at the time (because in part of the offering) and did not opted for another bank. I know R1000 is maybe not a lot of money but it is the principle that matters. There is nothing else to be said other than this company is just plain skelm and this loyalty offering is a scam. I also intend to complain at the Ombudsman for Banking Services
