My wife purchased a Puppy for my daughter and just as the Payment was processed, First National Bank called me and told me that the Transaction was fraudulent, but that I should not be concerned as the Funds had been reversed and would be creditted to my account. As it turns out, despite their assurances the Funds were not reversed and we lost R 5000.00. It now needs to be established how FNB knew with such cer*****y that the Transaction was fraudulent, how long had they been aware, and why did they allow this Account to remain open so that the Fraudsters could continue. After re-engaging with the Fraudsters undercover we realised they were still openly and blatantly continuing to scam people using bank accounts at every single bank account. Only after I started complaining did FNB send me a "deal" in which they would refund R 2000 but would then absolve them of any further responsibility, promising to clarify as to why this was allowed to happen, and why the full R 5000.00 was not reversed as follows. I have since send at least 7 Emails to the Person who is investigating the Fraud- Buthave recieved absolutey no response!! I am a Platinum VIP Black Cord Holder and they couldnt even bother to make contact with me, and yet they blatantly allowed others to be scammed? Despite Promises, I am still waiting for an Explanation many months later and we are aware that the Puppy Fraud continues.
During a cinema show my daughter and friend had raw sewage fall on them through the ceiling onto their heads. The management did nothing to assist these girls and allowed them to sit covered in farces without assisting them, offering to have them driven home or refund them for the expensive tickets at their Prestige Cinemas.
My wallet was left in our room, and despite the Fact that it was immediately reported and only one Houskeeper entered the room, absolutely no effort was made to address this matter for Hours and then only on my insistence when it was too late to do anything about it. When I called Aha to complain - they promised that the Managment responsible for this Hotel would call me, and 4 Days Later I am still waiting. I called them this Morning to warn that i was going to take my complaint to Social Media and they still didnt Care and told me that they could not speak to me- but would call later in the day- This is exactly what they said 4 days earlier.
We ordered two extremely expensive Chairs from Esque Decor and Furniture and they were dispatched in simple Bubble Wrap for accross border travel. When I reported them damaged they were extremely accomodating and offered to swap them, until just before i brought the Chairs back, then they suddenly did an about turn and then lied about how they were packaged and now refuse to take responsibilty at all. Despite claiming to have evidence that the Chairs were packed suitably in Cardboard and stating that we were lying and that they would never send chairs like that in Bubble wrap, they have since backtracked and admitted they sent it in Bubble wrap-Claiming that that is fine and acceptable Practice and damage remains my responsibility.
<p>I have had Hundreds of deductions totalling literally thousands of Rands, made from my Vodacom account by third party Service Providers who in my opinoin fraudulently Subscribed to my Account. Operators Like Opera, Droiderator etc take multiple Subscriptions per day. When i contacted Vodacom, they said it had nothing to do with them, and it was Part of my Voda Live package on my account.</p> <p>Despite allowing Third parties to make false Subscriptions on my Account without my knowledge or permission, Vodacom have simply made it my problem, and expect me to simply live with the Thousands of Rands Lost.</p> <p>I have been a Vodacom Customer for 23 Years and have Multiple accounts, and yet I have been dismissed without any assistance. it also Took them Months to respond to my queries while additional Charges went off my account.</p> <p>Is this the best we can expect from SA's Premium Cellphone Provider. ????</p> <p>I am reconsidering all my Accounts with Vodacom!!</p>
<p>I secured a Nedbank Fleet Card based on the assurance that they had checks and balances to detect and prevent Fraud on the Fleet Cards by Monitoring KM readings and Fuel Consumption . A member of my Staff in Cahoots with a Vendor Fraudulently Used my Fleet Cards to Draw Cash, Providing false Km reading for 3 MONTHS. Nedbanks Only response was to allow my limit to be exceeded and then asked FOR MORE MONEY TO BE DEPOSSITED!!. Despite the Fact that the KM reading went BACKWARDS from 97000km to 47000km - and would present a NEGATIVE fuel consumption and that the Card was not even present when the Fraud occured- Nedbank Paid out R 39 000.00 in Funds to a Fraudster-</p> <p>There was simple , rude and Arrogant- It is not their Problem despite the fact that all the chacks and Balances they promised totally failed and they exceeded my Limit without my permission- They simply stated that I should exersize more care in appointing Staff.</p> <p> </p> <p>Almost Four weeks after the fact- CEO Mike Brown has become aware of this and kindly offered me R 5000.00 but continued to state that Nedbank bears no responsibility- but they will Investigate.</p> <p> </p> <p>After 32 Years of Loyalty to Nedbank- I am closing my Nedbank accounts!!!!</p>
<p>Discovery Card and Discovery Health is a Total Scam. After belonging to Discovery health/Card for almost 20 Years and have Loyally paid Subscriptions, Card Payments etc. About a year and a half ago they stopped delivering Cards door to Door and I had to Collect at FNB. I went into FNB 4 -5 Times to collect the Card over 4 -5 months - only to Discover it was not delivered. Almost a Year without my Card, I gave up and got sick and tired of Paying for a Credit Card I dod not physically possess or Use. In frustration I decided to review my 3 life Policies and Medical Hospital plan, and decided to cancel. I contacted Discovery Card Division to cancel my Card. They Claimed to Cancel my Card. They then proceeded to continue to charge me for Card Protection fee's for a card that had been cancelled. It is ludicrous that they actually charge for a Credit Card that they did not have the decency to deliver, then charge me to "protect" a card they did not deliver to me and that was then Cancelled.</p> <p>We then get sms from Discovery health Threatenting to BLACKLIST us for an amount of R 472.00 which was Incurred almost Five Years ago, but that they had never informed us about EVER!!!!! They claim that we overspent on our Savings Five-Six Years agoi, but ignored it because we were a Member- But since we were leaving, decided to Demand the Money back with threatening SMS's.</p> <p>We are now getting Final Demands for an amount of R 2081.00 for Months, and contacted them to get Clarification- Ref No. 4322712066. After that no one called or contacted, but still continued to send Demands. Since then i have had 3-4 more calls to Discovery comnplaining about the Fact that I had to pay for a Card I did not have and every consultant promised to follow it up, only to get one idiotic consultant asking where they can deliver my Card????</p> <p>I have spent Hours and Hours on telephone calls - Holding on for Call Centres- Asking for emails to Confirm.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am so Glad I have cancelled 20 Years of Loyal commitment to Discovery spending approximately R 19000/ Month - But could kick myself for waiting so long. Big Mistake to take the Little Guys for Granted.!!!!</p>
