Qubist/Ecopec/Plant Index did the same to me, R35k, no delivery, no stock. Paid the end of August 22, sent 2 POPs then "Dominic Souza" (Fake Alias name) offered to send me R5k out of his personal money to help which never happened. What is really going on is OMONIYI BAMIDELE AKINBOBOLA, originally from Nigeria living in Pretoria North with his South African Wife Lindsey Lorreen Akinbobola, previously employed by Diale Maphothoma and Associates are running this fraud. The couple started a company that goes by MANY names but mainly Deskotia Consulting (originally a company registered in Lagos) or Murryfield consulting, contact numbers are always the same but this is the most consistent one **********, typical advertising is pasted all over the net and looks like this: DESKOTIA CONSULTING: **********. EMAIL : ***********. 2022 Vat registered shelf companies are on sale, Cost from R3000 https://murrayfield-tax-consulting.business.site/ OMONIYI BAMIDELE AKINBOBOLA using ID **********182 has 1470 companies registered in his name, he will claim he is an accountant that simply sells "Shelf Companies" and if they are used for fraud after the sale, that is not his problem which sounds plausible, except for the pattern, it's a front for what he is really doing. Mr Abkinbobola has been accused of this for before, publicly online with Lorreen defending him. They continue to deny any wrongdoing and maintain that they simply sell companies that just happen to lead to the same fraud with similar websites and the same scam, over and over again. However, if any doubt here the facts, look at this (Source K2021/438944/07 Company Report Ecopec) 05/03/2021 Ecopec (Shelf Company) activated after being dormant. 23/05/2022 Name Changed 25/05/2022 Director OMONIYI BAMIDELE AKINBOBOLA resigns 25/05/2022 New Director Appointed MOKGOTHU, KGOPOTSO KGOTSHEPILE REMEMBRANCE ID **********088 Address Changed Residential: OFFICE PARK, DURBAN NORTH, DURBAN, KWA-ZULU NATAL, 4000 Business : 93 MIDDEL STREET, EMALAHLENI, EMALAHLENI, MPUMALANGA, 1034 Fraud begins soon after the new appointment, always the same, No stock, small part refund if lucky, fake POPS....us consumers get left screaming threats saying we will call our lawyers and SAPS....and as you have found out, Nothing happens. You will go on chasing ghosts named Dominic Sauza and Richard who don't exist, while the couple move on to the next one. The only person left for authorities to really go after is the new director in the case of Ecopec MOKGOTHU, KGOPOTSO KGOTSHEPILE REMEMBRANCE ID **********088, it is believed she lives overseas and studied at Unisa, Pretoria. I can't confirm whether these new directors are knowingly involved are also just victims of fraud themselves. 2 easy recent examples of exactly the same fraud with different companies are Plant Index and Qubist https://www.hellopeter.com/qubist - See complaints of Fake PoPs ect https://www.hellopeter.com/plant-index - See complaints of Fake PoPs ect Again all same, OMONIYI BAMIDELE AKINBOBOLA resigns, this time JARVIS, REFILOE BEVERLY also studied at Unisa, Pretoria is now the director. After writing more letters, giving them more time to supply my sewing machine or money back, it is now 3 months later, still no responds or anyting. They have basically stole R4200 from me. I hope everyone sees this and that they will close down. It is companies like this that give on line shopping a bad reputation. Don't think I will every buy anything on line again.

The worst online fraudsters and scammers Do not even try them In May I was shopping for a Xbox Series X, they said they have availability of it and can ship same week. They gave the delivery date to be expected 28/05/2021. It never came. They then used excuses of that its from a 3rd party, and there are shipping delays and strikes and so much more. I requested a refund on 28/05/2021, and again the following day and week after that and then again and again, I am still waiting for my refund. They even sent me FAKE proof of payments to try stall me, I am still waiting 2 months later for my money that they have stollen. Please do not ever use their services or place any order with them. They lie and make up excusses and 1 out of 100 phone calls they may answer if you are lucky. The worst online fraud and theft business in SA

I am also a victim of the Qubist Scam which poses itself as an online store, do not buy from them, I have Investigated this business. The mastermind is someone called Omoniyi Bamidele Akinbobola . I am seeking legal advice to determine what to do , and will also lay a criminal charge against the business.Although my money was only R609.00 I don't want someone thinking they can just scam me out of money without consequences. Do NOT buy from Qubist or Nexodium suppliers, stick to reputable stores like Take A Lot

On the 21st of May I bought a sewing machine at Qubist with delivery I paid. R4239..05. I received an sms to say it will be deliverd on the 27 of May. On the 27th I waited and nothing came. About. 16:00 I phone to follow up. I was told it was dispatched I will receive it the next day, waited the next day. Nothing came. Then it was weekend had no responds. Phone on the Monday they said their was a problem with supplier but they are busy sorting it out and they can refunf my money in meantime for peace of mind, I said I will wait becuase I want that particular sewing machine. Middle of June I followed up on the progress and was told that their is trouble with the shipment ( after they showed 10 in stock and it was dispatched now they cant get it here) they will refund my money and still send it to me i can use it for 7 days and then pay them. I agreed. After a few days i was told that on the Monday he is now doing the payment. It takes 3 working days so I wlil have my money on. Thursday. On Thursday I receive an Proof of payment from Absa that the money was paid only on that day. Monday , i thought ok it will only then reflect on Tuesday, on. Tuesday no money now i got worried. I have double check the account banking details are correct. I phoned and email no responds, tried everyday no responds. Left messages wrote emails, on one is getting back to me. And still No money!! We purchased a Sansui 40 inch LED television literally a month ago. The TV just switches on and off and does not pick up any channels we then proceeded to take the TV back to Qubist on Saturday and we were told that we would have a replacement on Tuesday due to the fact that there is no stock. I called them first thing that morning and now being fed all sorts of stories and excuses, they will not be able to replace or help me i have to wait 21 days for an assessment!! To say that i am upset is an understatement as when purchasing a TV you dont expect it to pack up in a month. I am awaiting a response eagerly to get this matter sorted out amicably and quickly as i cannot wait for 21 days.....
