We have been without water for a week now and it is a problem. We don't have clothes to wear and bathing has been limited ... I hope that you can foresee problems with our aging system. Regular maintenance before 2020 would have helped with the water crisis. Our dams are full yet we don't have water.

2026 and again it's another year without water in our area as palmiet pumping on the east rand in Gauteng and it's tough as the heat of the hot weather we are going through, and we never have enough tankers and yet as if we never work to make a living, so how are we to get water after hours, when we worked for the day, and out children at school how is this to be hygienic at all, even at other places like old age homes, another year of Ekurhuleni at Germiston stating Rand water stated there is a power outage, this is of an emergency that needs to be sorted as it's going to be unhygienic and how to find extra monies through this to survive is unnecessary.

I'm writing to express extreme dissatisfaction and frustration with the handling of my query submitted in August 2025. Despite waiting six months, I've received no feedback for six months after I send mails after mail for Rand Water Legal department for resolution and assistance. The issue concerns permission granted to my neighbour to fence off the Rand Water servitude, restricting my and other neighbours access to the water line and shut-off valve. This has led to a R70,000 water bill due to a broken line caused by that neighbour worker that damage my water line, which I attribute to lack of maintenance access. I've been without water since August 2025. My question is: How can Rand Water allow a landowner to fence off the servitude, preventing other landowners from accessing their water lines and shut-off valves for regular inspections and maintenance? This has resulted in significant financial loss and hardship for me, a loyal customer who pays bills on time. I find it unacceptable that Rand Water and my neighbor have ignored my efforts to resolve this issue for six months. The lack of response and water supply is inhumane. I request: - Urgent escalation to a senior Rand Water official - Clear explanation of the permission granted to my neighbor - Resolution of my water supply issue - Waiver of the R70,000 water bill

Stinking smell because of blocked sewer pipe that feds to sanctity prison. We have been living with this stench for years. Reported it and the ref no was closed. Waiting for jet liner to unblock. It has been 3 months

Failure to provide water after an outage in the time allocated and we are now running into a week without water and as usual any current government concern fails to keep the relevant municipalities and Ward Councilors updated with correct reliable feedback.

Good day Near the end of the year again year twenty twenty five, as other months over and over there is no water on the East rand in Homestead, Sunnyridge and Gerdview, and the water tankers are not enough everything runs dry, it's very difficult and on holidays it's like this, how is next year going to be, every weekend this year we had no electricity and no water. Our deep freezers are empty and so are our fridges as we can't live a happy structural life here, and it gets harder and harder and all the Ekurhuleni or Rand water state is waiting until it comes on. This is hard and sad and it might get worse as community and ourselves have never seen a silver lining at all.

They do not help with complaints received from residents in Ekurhuleni. We have been without water since Thursday. It is unhygienic to the extent that we have no water to flush the toilets or bath. They told me to contact the people who told me to contact them.
