In November 2025, The Repair Team collected my LG True Steam dishwasher from my home for repairs after ongoing heating/steam issues. Since then, despite endless calls, WhatsApps, emails and follow-ups, my dishwasher has never been returned. I dealt mainly with a technician named Roy, who continuously made excuses regarding unavailable parts and delays. After months of waiting, I requested that my machine simply be returned if it could not be repaired. That never happened. Things became even more concerning when another person named Terence answered Roy’s phone and informed me that Roy no longer worked for the company. He then attempted to sell me a Bosch dishwasher and even sent me photographs of another LG dishwasher asking if it belonged to me — it did not. I escalated the matter to Samantha at The Repair Team office, who acknowledged Roy’s involvement with the company and advised she would escalate the issue. Despite repeated assurances, nobody ever resolved the matter, no senior management contacted me back, and I was eventually told to deal directly with the technician myself. I have now: Lodged a formal complaint with the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO), Gathered all WhatsApp communications, emails, call logs and voice recordings, And will be opening a SAPS case regarding my missing appliance. After more than 7 months, I still have no dishwasher, no explanation and no accountability from the company. I am simply requesting: The return of my dishwasher, Replacement with the same model, Or reimbur*****t for its value.

We had a bad experience with a Defy Dishwasher. They came out, replaced a sensor (overcharged us), and did not even supply us with a quote beforehand. The dishwasher is not working, and although they came out again and "fixed" it, the dishwasher is still not working. They are dodging our calls. DO NOT USE THEM - THEY ARE BAD

My Microvalve was taken away by a technician for assessment after the initial callout. I did not accept their quote and when returned a month later it was so badly scratched, especially on the keypad that fixing it would no longer be an option. It has lost its aesthetics and as something that I keep in the kitchen, I am no longer able to do so.

Why is your service 24/7 if no one attends to any queries or concerns. I have been in communication with the team from the 16th Dec 2024. Paul came and advised what was wrong. Paid deposit of R1000 for the part to be bought he came back again with a wrong part and was to return on the 28th Dec 2024. It’s now the 2 of Jan 2026 and my machine is still not fixed and no one takes my message serious and no one answers my call. I have been patient enough can I please get my refund Regret this decision I made

Why is your service 24/7 if no one attends to any queries or concerns. I have been in communication with the team from the 16th Dec 2024. Paul came and advised what was wrong. Paid deposit of R1000 for the part to be bought he came back again with a wrong part and was to return on the 28th Dec 2024. It’s now the 2 of Jan 2026 and my machine is still not fixed and no one takes my message serious and no one answers my call. I have been patient enough can I please get my refund Regret this decision I made

Picked up dishwasher end of April,Repair Team said motherboard not working R3000.00 to fix deposit of R1400.00 paid they took it away gone for over a month. Came back ,machine not draining water all over the floor. They came back said they fixed demanded the balance of the money or would take machine away. I stupidly paid them by EFT then the next day turned the machine on water not emptied. They are totally unreliable and I am pretty sure that was not my dishwasher it was old and dirty which they deny. They were aggressive towards me and had to call security to get them to leave. After realising the machine was not fixed I told them to take it away and refund me my money which they refuse to do.

On the 12th of December, RePair team was paid in FULL R2250 by my pensioner parents to have their fridge repaired. It's more than a month later, the fridge still doesn't work, the freezer now isn't working and now they want to send their "best" technician who couldn't RePair it for the 10 visits he made to remove spares in order for me to get a partial refund. Don't ever use this company and their technician Richard. They don't know what they are doing
