I received excellent service from Mr. Jokes. He assisted me in securing a vehicle with low mileage, top quality, and a low deposit. The refund process was completed within just one day. Truly outstanding service—keep up the great work!

Good Day, Just a warning to potential customers wanting to utilise the services of this company. They are initially very helpful and welcoming, but once you start entering into an agreement, then the Service starts sliding and they 'conveniently' leave out charges and fee's. Initially the pricing is reasonable (with sub-standard cars), but they also don't disclose many charges which you only find out on your bill after returning the car. It then works out the same pricing as going to Avis or Budget, etc. BEWARE of them, rather use the bigger brands for more peace of mind. They try to defend themselves pitifully but as a customer its a losing battle. Perhaps they are selective on who they offer good service to, but my service and experience has been extremely poor with no compromise. Lesson learnt, never again and I will warn everyone I know.

Beware of ResQ Rent a Car at all costs! My recent encounter with them shed light on their ********* conduct. Despite having driven only 220 km throughout the entire week, they inexplicably refuelled the vehicle twice – once on Friday, the 23rd of February 2024, by myself, before returning the vehicle to ResQ and again on Monday, the 26th of February 2024, without my consent, by ResQ resulting in undisclosed charges and an implausible consumption rate of 7.1 kilometres per litre for an i10 1.2 Fluid, which has an estimated and tested fuel consumption of 5.5 km per litre! Their audacity knows no bounds; they refuelled the vehicle on Monday, the 26th of February 2024, with more fuel than I even used during the entire previous week, from the 16th to the 23rd of February 2024, when I had the vehicle in my possession, despite having returned it the prior Friday, the 23rd of February 2024. Even in instances where the vehicle remains idle in their possession, ResQ will still add extra kilometres, (6km) to the odometer and charge you for them, despite your non-usage. This blatant double-charging is utterly unacceptable and lays bare their ********* business tactics! Their mishandling of credit card information is equally alarming; they make copies of both sides of the card, leaving customers vulnerable to potential *****. The vehicle they provided, an i10 with 98546 km on the odometer as of February 16th, 2024, was in deplorable condition. The left front park light was dysfunctional, the timing and air conditioning belts emitted disturbing noises upon start-up and usage, and the clutch felt disproportionately heavy, rendering driving a daunting task, especially in congested traffic. If you must use a car rental service, I strongly advise exploring other options. Dealing with ResQ Rent a Car is not worth the risk. Stay away from this company and “their” practices. Approach with extreme caution!!!!!!!!!

I recently hired a Hyundai i10 from this company which broke down on a long trip, and started smoking. I called in to alert them and I was pretty much blamed for the breakdown because I drove it to a garage with the warning light on and was told "to find my own way home" almost 400 km away from my home. In the company's own words "At face value, it appears that the radiator failure was not due to anything you had done." Which clearly indicates the mechanics say it wasn't my fault. I'm still being threatened with an invoice after being stranded in Bloemfontein and paying for a vehicle that broke down and when I ask for a deposit back I'm not getting any clear answers. This provider didn't care enough to send a replacement and hasn't apologised for its faulty vehicle. I'm sure they will respond with their own idea of what happened, but as soon as I saw the light I took it to a garage maybe a km from when I saw it (I thought it was 5 but a family member corrected me when he saw the road). I was a woman driving alone in SA on my way back to JHB. They offered me no support at the time, and continued to hold my deposit and the extra money I paid for the days I didn't/couldn't use the car. They are saying I will loose my depost and they will invoice me for repairs, I have gone to the police and meet with the detective next week. I am to take all my documents with me however I have REPEATEDLY asked ResQ for roadworthy cert for the car, Dekra, the insurance details that I paid for and the inspection documents before hand off and I'm being completely ignored. I am hoping in the week I can lay a case of fraud against them. Would NOT recommend.

Worst and most unproffesional car rental agency in the country. Poor customer service, inneffective customer portal, rude and unhelpful staff. No responses to complaints nor willingness to resolve issues. A real "mickey mouse"venture this.

In June this year, I had a vehicle accident which at first seemed less serious, but has become and still is an enormous problem at various levels. In the midst of this mess, and in stark contrast to the appalling service I have received from the role-players, Flip Botha of ResQ Rent a Car, and his team, have literally and figuratively gone the extra mile and out of their way for me. While having to deal with quite traumatic and on-going uncer*****y around the issue of my vehicle, dealing with Flip and his guys have been giving me the peace of mind of knowing I could 100% & absolutely rely on their professional, punctual and compassionate service, at prices that won't break one's heart or budget. PS: The fact that Res Q Car Rentals is based in Meyerton is not an issue; they will deliver the vehicle wherever you are, whenever you need it.
