I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the consistently poor customer service my family and I have received from Ronnies Motor Mercedes Benz dealership. On multiple occasions, we have experienced subpar treatment from consultants, characterized by a lack of communication, unprofessional attitude, and disregard for customer needs. Specifically, we have had two instances where we had to threaten to escalate the matter in order to retrieve our vehicle after servicing. This is unacceptable and indicates a systemic issue with customer care at your dealership. Our most recent experience on the 20th of March 2025 it was particularly disappointing. We dropped off our vehicle at 7:00 am for a scheduled service and were not provided with a clear estimate of the completion time. Despite traveling over 100 km to reach your dealership, we were given the excuse that service was provided on a "first-come, first-served" basis. We did not receive our vehicle until 5:00 pm, which caused significant inconvenience to my parents. Furthermore, we have experienced a lack of transparency and communication regarding quotes and warranties. Consultants have failed to provide clear explanations and updates, leaving us feeling undermined and undervalued as customers. In light of these experiences, I urge you to take immediate action to address the systemic issues within your customer service department. As a well-known brand, I expect a higher standard of service and care for your customers.

I took the car to Ronnies for an adblue refill.I was told that the whole adblue system needs to be replaced and that will cost R36,900.When I got home, the adblue was working well.I had already paid R15,000 deposit to them for the part that will be ordered.I told them I no longer need the part as the car is working fine. They do not want to give my refund, saying that the parts are not returnable.Melony Boucher was the service advisor and she has not been very helpful and she was rude to me.

I bought a car from them in January 2022, only to discover over a year later that the contract I signed is flawed in terms of description of the car, which has possibly knocked up the price and they are not willing to cancel it, saying it’s the bank that made the error so they are unable to help me with that. I’m basically paying way more than I should be paying on the car that I’m driving and I feel ****med.

My fathers car was involved in an accident and he had taken the car dealership in 28 March 2022. Until today it is still there with very little or communication, first it was parts ordered from Germany and then they said they spotted another problem. the frustration of all this, one bothers to call and update on the on going status of the car

In a word, arrogance! In addition to a new problem being mysteriously "discovered" while they were repairing another, it has taken weeks and weeks of literally "begging" Ronnie's management for me to even get a quote from them. All this time without a car of course. Finally, over a final two and a half week period and numerous emails politely begging for some action, I succeeded in going from "it should be here today" (the part itself) to an exorbitant quotation which seems (in my view anyway) to cover every possible outcome. As an "over 60" believe me when I say that I have dealt with a few dealerships in my life but NEVER HAVE I EVER had an experience like this one. This is undoubtedly my last Mercedes Benz and certainly my last walk into Ronnie's Motors' door. To Mercedes, there are other good cars out there you know!

A service rendered by Ronnies is appalling to any consumer who went through what we went through. The institution takes advantage of its consumers and only places their sale over service by reaping consumers off their monies through sales. We bought a second hand car NISSAN XTrailor 2009 model with registration number HKP474EC)with Ronnies only to establish that it has engine issues in a second or third month of driving the car.We took the car back to the dealer(in this case Ronnies) and they promised to have delivered their service by supposedly installing a engine through Ians Auto Clinic at No 10 Jacob Nanni Place,North End,East Londn. We realized this was not the case when we had the same conundrum few months down the line and returned the car.We were advised of a different issues with the intention to get us moving and pay for damages which cost almost the same amount as we bought the car,for an engine they have claimed for using using Motor Rite, but no one could furnish us with a confirmation or proof of the installed engine. We have been going back and forth since February without any resolution while paying for this car and also trying to source means to get to work daily. Ronnies use IANs Auto Clinic in East London as their repair center and we have been going back and forth with this auto clinic as well without resolution. I am taking this further and require your valid resolution to this conundrum Disappointed consumer Z Peter ********** 811
