I don't think the PE office even deserves a star. The rental agents ************ (as mentioned in the reviews), as a landlord you also become the agent. They will do anything to get commission even at the expense of the landlord, have an attorney before dealing with this agency. How can a tenant not pay levies and water usage utilities for 6 months and the agent make excuses for the tenant on the point of having worked well with the tenant for the past years. Not to mention the over looking of docs submitted by tenants at application stage and the landlord being shoved with damage quotations for damage by tenant.

NRG-Sunninghill- Pathetic Service I had absolutely bad service from NRG Sunninghill after I signed an Offer To Purchase for a property in Sunninghill Gardens and it was accepted. Broken promises, outstanding documents, failure to clean property, water leaks, lights not working, removing garden equipment after agents promised it will be left on property, broken pool pump, dirty pool, and the list goes on and on (all this was in "order" when we viewed and made offer to purchase). My wife even had threats from the agent to come over to my property and "sort" her out when we complained about all the broken promises...Integrity,Ethical behavior, acting in good faith for both buyer and seller are characteristics that this real estate company does not posses. I cannot give below a 1 star rating, wish I could honestly, I will never advise any potential property buyer to use them ever, I certainly will never in this lifetime. Yes, I should have stipulated a lot on the OTP which I did not and NRG Sunninghill used this to their advantage to basically ignore all concerns raised, and further advise it is now my problem to resolve. It was my first time purchasing a "second" hand property and my naivety cost me a lot. Please becareful of this real estate agency.

Complaint: National Realtors Group (NRG) Port Elizabeth RE: FORCED TO MOVE BEFORE LOCKDOWN ON 26 MARCH 2020. Please advise on my legal rights regarding a matter between MYSELF Stewart Pawley (the tenant) and a rental agent, Alett Fourier, from Nation Realtors Group (NRG) in Port Elizabeth. My family and I were forced to move out of our flat the day before Lockdown at no. 9 The WATERFRONT, 11 Windemere Street, Humewood in Port Elizabeth. The unit was on my Mother's name, Gail Pawley. We were told to be out of the flat by the 26th of March 2020 at 12pm and yet we did not find another place to live yet. Alett Fourie (NRG SA) insisted that instead of 31 March 2020 and no intent of refunding for the remaining days from 27 March 2020 - 31 March 2020, which was told by Alett it would be deducted from the deposit. This is a bad reflection on NRG and they operate never-minded and the way she behaved whilst doing it because the Caretaker, Eddie did not want to allow them access to the property as they did not get permission to move in on that particular day. Alett Fourie's behavior in front of our child who was already stressed by this eviction by sitting swearing, crying and making a scene inside the flat with the Caretaker, Eddie and on the phone was very unprofessional with whoever she was speaking to and not allowing us to take down our curtains because we were unable to locate the 2 curtains that were originally came when renting the premises that didn't even cover the lounge window. The new tenant then moved in at 12pm on 26th March 2020 while my girlfriend was still packing up and cleaning the unit. Different people, including Alett where entering and exiting the unit whilst my girlfriend and child were there. My girlfriend had to hand over the keys to the new tenant while she was still in the place and he basically moved in on top of us. Be-warned of Alett Fourie /NRG Port Elizabeth and how they conduct business.

I have had nothing but bad service from NRG Centurion since my lease expired with them on the 31st of August. I was sent a snaglist by the agent on the 4th of September, to which I responded to within an hour with comments on what I agree or disagree with. I even made a suggestion that they deduct an amount from the deposit for these supposed repairs, but there was no response to this. I spoke to the principal of the estate agency Mary-Ann Mosoeunyane, who happens to be the owner of the property of the 5th of September and she advised that there were a number of things that needed to be attended to and repaired at the property and that she would need to fix all these things before she could refund my deposit. I agreed to this as I had no problem paying for the damages that I had caused. So I told her she needs to send me a quote for the costs of repairing all the items mentioned. I was told I would receive this within two days, but this never materialised. I kept following up with both Mary-Ann Mosoeunyane and the people at her office on this but I was being sent from pillar to post with new excuses every time I phoned or emailed. The contract states that the deposit refund must be finalised within 21 days of the termination of the lease. I followed up again with them after the 21st, and there was still no commitment as to when they would finalise this, or send me a quote of the supposed costs incurred. I decided to escalate this to the franchisor (NRG Head Office) on the 2nd of October, and they promised to address it with NRG Centurion. On the 3rd of October after escalating this to NRG Head Office, NRG Centurion sent me a spreadsheet with a list of things that needed to be repaired/ replaced. There were no slips attached (as required in the contract) or proof of expenses incurred as a result of attending to these maintenance items. I disputed some of the amounts listed, and made comments next to each item as to what I deemed to be a reasonable figure for the repair. This was completely ignored, and they merely proceed to deduct what they wanted to deduct, with no explanation as to how they arrived at these figures and with no receipts or invoices for the expense incurred! Their calculation was to deduct R6836 from my deposit, and mine was that the most they could deduct was R5158, and I provided reasons why I thought this was the correct amount - they simply ignored this with no justification! On top of all this, there is also a credit due to me for the utilities account of R1900. they have also failed to pay this! We are back to square one again where they are not responding to my emails and questions! I have never experienced such unprofessional and dishonest behaviour from any service provider! It’s been an awful experience! This company has broken every possible rule of the TCF (Treating Customers Fairly).

I had payment problem, called and arranged with nokwnda as she is my agent and agreed that on the 18th I will make a payment and I also want to serve a notice. on the 18th I paid and short with the money for another room, I communicated with her and we agreed that they will use the money for the deposit since I am moving out. yesterday when I came back from work my kids were locked outside, and no communication was made with me. I had to call her I go few kilometers to a place to get the keys, today when I come back they are locked outside again, still no communication was made with me. it really sucks as she is not being professional with me, especially when I made arrangement with her and they have my deposit. she inspected the rooms and no damage was done, meaning I am entitled for my deposit. I hade the fact that she didn't give me the contract for the room.
