Bought a 75" MiniLED Skyworth Smart TV from Makro. Once the fibre was installed the TV was used for only 5 days before it broke. Neither Makro nor Skyworth South Africa wants to take responsibility for the defect TV we were sold. $840 later and a broken TV now they are requesting more cash to repair the screen. I purchased a Skyworth 75 inch TV from Makro Springfield that went faulty. Despite multiple attempts to have this resolved, I reached out to Skyworth customer service and they simply asked Makro to expedite this. This has been ongoing for 8 weeks now and I use this for business purposes. Clearly they dont care about their brand or remotely interested in resolving issues related to their TV;s.

I purchased a Skyworth 75 inch TV from Makro Springfield that went faulty. Bought a 55 inch TV in 2023, end 2025 TV has a black screen on the right side. To determine warranty, was a process. Credit note eventually issued to Takealot where TV was bought. its been a month later neither (Reported mid Feb now March) Takealot or Skyworth responding to emails. Skyworth has become Skywall.

Bought a TV in June 2023, only to have it have display problems. Contacted Skyworth , unfortunately extremely unprofessional in communication since everything was done from the brand ambassador Kiasha, WhatsApp rather than email or recorded calls. The service centre stated that with this issue it will be refunded and not repaired. No communication then a message from Kiasha saying it is now being repaired. When called, to ask why the plan had changed without being informed as the customer with no communication to us, this ambassador grew agitated and extreme condescending on the call telling us that we should not tell her how to do her job and that the salesperson in store is at fault and not her. Horrible person to deal As she has no interpersonal skills. Consider hiring qualified peiplet

I am extremely disappointed with the aftersales service I have received from Skyworth. Our TV, which is just over two years old, suddenly stopped picking up WIFI. I phoned the repairs department, who casually remarked, "ja, it’s these Chinese products, you will need to send it in; it is still under warranty." I then went to IC and booked the TV in, but it took them two weeks to fetch it, with one excuse after another delaying the process. Eventually, on Friday, 30 January 2026, after 17h00, the Skyworth driver finally arrived to collect the TV. I phoned on Thursday, 5 February 2026, only to be told that the TV was only booked in on Monday, 2 February—perhaps understandable, as the weekend had intervened. I followed up again on the 9th, and was told the TV was out for delivery and had been repaired. However, today, Thursday the 12th, I have still not received the TV. The excuse now is that the address was not legible, but they did phone me, so I beg to differ. I am still waiting for Willem, the workshop manager, to call me back. Overall, this service has left me very dissatisfied, and I find it shocking that such poor aftersales support is being provided. I hope my experience will serve as a caution for future customers and perhaps prompt improvements in your service.

Don't buy skyworth appliances, I bought TV 86 inch on the 18 the November, TV stopped showing pictures, I logged call with Makro Silverlakes 04 january 2026 they are also useless, on the 14 January when I do followup because TV is not yest collected, skyworth told me my query has been closed, because makro didn't send the information, I had to log another call, which they fetched the TV on the 17th since them im calling for follow up im told that the technician hasn't attended to my TV, I can't never buy TV and it only work for a week or so and nothing is been done to my complaint, and they don't even sound like they worry about my complaint
