I'm very frustrated with the service I received at Sleepmasters Lambton. On the 22nd of February I went to do a layby and I made two payments that amounted to R1100. I then went again on the 2nd of April to cancel due to financial issues and the manager told me that I won't get my refund because I have to take something worth R1100 of which it was a back and forth because I clearly stated that I want the refund and I know the Tcs and C's state that they'll deduct 1 percent of admin fee then we went ahead with the cancellation and I gave her the documents needed. Till today I still haven't received my money .I've called several times and there was a time whereby she said the refund is in progress. I called again today around 2pm they said the manager went to the toilet I asked to be called back of which they didn't and I tried to call back they didn't answer my call. I called Sleepmasters customer service and spoke to Tshepo Mosi he checked for me on his system and he said there is no cancellation or refund under my name so which means the manager **** to me , her name is Babalwa Qwashu So I'd advice people to not purchase from that shop they have a very bad attitude when it comes to customers

I have had the best service from Zima's Ndleleni. he has been patient with me through payment and the questions I asked. I have successfully purchased a bed set from Durban delivery cape town; He sent me messages daily until payment was met and delivery was confirmed. I have had the best service from Zima's Ndleleni. he has been patient with me through payment and the questions I asked. I have successfully purchased a bed set from Durban delivery cape town; He sent me messages daily until payment was met and delivery was confirmed. Extremely disappointed with Sleepmasters N1 City. It has now been a month since I paid for my goods, and I still have not received my full order. The items are arriving in drips and drabs with no proper communication or updates from the company. What makes the experience even worse is that I always have to contact them first to find out what is happening. At no point has Sleepmasters proactively contacted me to explain the delays or provide a clear timeline for delivery. Customer service and communication have been very poor throughout this entire process. Once they have your money, it seems the urgency to assist disappears completely. I would not recommend Sleepmasters based on my experience.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I have received from Sleepmasters regarding an unresolved bed replacement matter that has now been ongoing for months. I originally purchased a Brooklyn 3/4 bed from Sleepmasters Mall@55 in April 2025. In October 2025, the bed became defective and was replaced with another Brooklyn 3/4 bed. Unfortunately, the replacement bed developed the same issues again and I reported the matter during February/March 2026. Following discussions with Sleepmasters staff, I agreed to pay an additional R1000 for an upgraded replacement bed, namely a Restonic Bahama Double Base Set. This payment was made on 27 March 2026 at the Alberton Bracken City branch. Despite payment being made, I am STILL waiting for the upgraded bed to be delivered. I have made countless phone calls, sent numerous emails, and followed up repeatedly with both the store and customer care, however my calls are often ignored or never returned and I receive little to no meaningful feedback. At this point, I can only sometimes get through when hiding my caller ID, which is extremely concerning. This matter is now seriously affecting my health, as I am experiencing ongoing back pain and discomfort from continuing to sleep on the current defective bed. I have now formally escalated the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) after exhausting all reasonable attempts to resolve this directly with Sleepmasters. I would simply like Sleepmasters to honor the upgrade agreement and provide the replacement bed that I paid for.

I bought a bed on the 20 April 2026. On the 28th of April 2026 I called and asked them to refund me because the bed was making a loud noise when I sit on it and the mattress was sagging and making a noise if you turn. The mattress was also very uncomfortable. No one called me back. A week later I called 5 days in a row. The manufacturer contacted me and asked me to send videos of myself rolling around on the bed and after I did the called to offer me an exchange. I told them I want a refund, but they sent an email to say the bed is ok so they won't assist me even after admitting there's a noise and offering me an exchange. Its nearly a month and I called the Consumer Ombudsman to investigate. The website clearly says they will refund been 7-14 days and according to the Electronic Transaction Act, they are supposed to give a refund if a customer requests. If you click on it link to see their conditions it shows the page doesn't exist so you can't see anything. They sell items *****ulently and after they take your money, they refuse to assist with after sales. They even **** on the system about the date when the Ombudsman contacted them when I called to resolve.
