Complaint Regarding Misleading Advertising by SMTAX Digital Accounting I recently had a disappointing experience with SMTax Digital Accounting, which I believe constitutes false or misleading advertising. I paid R450 under the impression that this fee would cover the application and submission process for a Tax Clearance Certificate (TCC). However, after making the payment, I was informed that the fee only covered a copy of the certificate – not the actual submission to SARS or assistance in applying for the TCC. This was never made clear during the initial communication or in the adverti*****t, and I feel misled as a customer. Paying R450 just for a copy of a document that I expected help acquiring feels like a deliberate omission of crucial information, bordering on deceptive business practice. I urge others to exercise caution when dealing with this company, and I request that SMTAX update their marketing and communication to be transparent about what their fees actually cover....

Terrible service delivery
I'm appalled with the lack of service and expertise I received from SMTAX's Athini Mtetho. A few months ago, I contacted the company to handle my annul tax return, which was not completed, but instead Athini registered my company for VAT, which makes less than R1 million (which is below the required income threshold without my knowledge). He had promised to apply for deregistration, which has still not been completed two months later.

SMTAX TOP CLASS
Easy service to use, good feedback and ultimately you VAT registration is done. SARS being overwelled with registrations en enquiries, its better to use a company like SMTAX. They know the procedures and requirements and truly are there to assist.

Shocking
SMTax is a Disgrace. They hack into your profile and commit fraudulent activities without your consent in breach of the POPIA act even after you have advised them that you don't want to use any of their services. They do not answer their phone and do not respond to e-mails. Going to report them to the OMBUD and Regulator. Disgusting

SMTAX business registration
Hello Peter I just wanted to inform you that I have registered for a new Business with SMTAX on Sunday night and I was getting informed during registration and now they are not getting back to me with any updates regarding the business registration process. The business registration reference they sent me is SM38199. So I was wondering if you could help me because the there is some information that I need from them urgently. And no1 I getting back via email or phone call nothing at all. Thank you in advance.

Thieves robbing innocent people of their money
Please do no register your companies with these scam artists. They ask you to pay for company registration then they avoid your calls once they have received your money. Not sure if Chuma is even a real person that you speak to for registration or just a fake name.
