You almost caused my moms place to burn down with you installations And you refuse to fix the problem even if there was a warranty given Shocking that you have taken advantage of an elderly woman

I purchased a backup converter from Solar Africa in July 2023. Initially, it worked fine, but when load shedding occurred in November 2023, the inverter failed to work. After resetting the battery, it started working again. However, in March 2025, when load shedding resumed, the inverter failed again. Despite my efforts to reset it, it refused to work or charge. I contacted Solar Africa, and they promised to send someone to check it out. Unfortunately, they failed to follow through on their promise. When I pressed them for a resolution, they demanded a call-out fee, despite the fact that the product was still under warranty. I find this unacceptable, as it's not my fault that they sold me a faulty product. To make matters worse, when I refused to pay the call-out fee, they suggested that I bring the inverter to them for repair. This is completely impractical and unrealistic, as I'm not an electrician and don't have the expertise or equipment to safely remove and transport the inverter. I would advise against purchasing from Solar Africa if you value peace of mind. Their unprofessionalism, lack of accountability, and unreasonable expectations are disappointing, to say the least.

They installed a Sunsynk system for my home, and the entire process was great. The installation was done on time, and the team ensured that everything was neat and tidy, leaving no mess behind. It's rare to find a company that combines both quality and efficiency, but Solar Traders Africa definitely stands out. If you're looking for reliable solar solutions, I highly recommend them!"

Good day would just like to make consumers aware that I had solar installation done by Solar Traders Africa on 06/04/2024. I then contacted them to report an error with the system the next day. After constantly following up with them for 3 weeks, as to when they would come out to fix the issue. They eventually came out on the 30/04/2024 to disconnect my panels instead of fixing the problem. I then discovered on the 13/05/2024 that the cables where starting to burn, exposing the wire and damaging the battery. I was forced to contact another solar electrician who informed me that this system was a fire hazard and was never supposed to be switched on. As a consumer I did not know any better as Solar Traders Africa issued me a CoC. Not relising that my situation was so bad.
