Hi All I hope you all are well. I took my car (BMW E92 BLACK) to one of your branch @ Plumstead (CAPE TOWN) for sound enhancement. After getting a quote from all the stuff I NEEDED there, I requested those guys there to help with fitting and make sure that, I won't hear the RCA sound when I'm driving or accelerating. They've promise me that confirm that they know what they were doing however what I got it's still unbelievable. Guys there took long to complete it on that day and advised me to bring it the following day for completion however on that 2nd day. That's were issues started. 1. Dashboard Blew up 2.Sound / got affected 3.Reverse camera never worked 4.All my speakers aren't working well. The front speakers were there and only the passenger one was working however after the Abs blew. It affected it and it's not work as we speak. >The rear or back speakers plays and stops and gives a bad sound. I have advised those guys to properly connect them but after taking a car today from them, I can confirm that, thy RCA acceleration sound it's there and speakers plays and stop and my front speakers aren't there anymore. 5.USB port isn't working as well due to that ABS issue. 6.ABS- after replacing a dashboard, there ABS weren't tested and not sure if they are working however I will check with BMW branch and once I have the figure of how much it is, i will update you and my cup holder on the new dashboard is not working however on the old one it was working fine. 7. RADIO. Is not working well. I can't play FM or use USB from it. I will be happy if you guys can help me here. 8. ALL THIS ISSUE STARTED AFTER THE ABS Blew UP AND AFFECTED EVERYTHING. I WILL. BE HAPPY IF YOU GUYS CAN REPLACE MY RADIO, RECONNECT MY CAMERA, FIX MY ABS AND PASSENGER CUP HOLDER AND ABS. I have also attached Affidavit from a police station with other docs. NB: I'm extremely unhappy with the service I got from that branch and not willing to go there or allow them to touch my car again. I'm looking forward to hear from you guys soon. Thanks I've forgot to attached the sound clip I took when l was playing a sound in my car today.

No Communication. Such bad customer service. You have to beg them to get updates. Why do I need to wait 2 full days for a order just to get processed. There is companies out there no matter the size, that do same day processing. Wont recommend. Hoping they process my refund.

Very unhelpful. Doesn't care, after spending almost R8000 on speakers and sub and amp. Having it installed about a month ago we find that the LHS speaker died, without any indications [ no burning smell, nothing, just dead] my son decided to take it back to Soundmatch to look at and without any checking was told that there's no warranty on speakers and told him that they need to send the speaker away for checking. They also told him that he didn't check if the speaker was playing before he left their shop. Now when you sit in your car and the system is playing surely you can hear a difference between 2 speakers playing and then only 1 speaker playing. We even switched the wires to check and that didn't work. I'm just disappointed that after spending he's money on the system to be given such heartless treatment for a fault which is clearly not he's doing. So people, just be careful when having this kind of thing done to your radio system only to discover a fault afterwards and going through the same treatment as my son did.

Absolute worst experience with this company. Left my car there overnite on the 28th October to rewire sound system; install anti hijack switch and repare or replace central locking door pump. 1- they didn't do the pump. 2- theft- they stole a dagger out my car that I owned for over 20 years. 3-shoddy workmanship- the center panel of my car was left loose after instalation indicating a lack of attention to detail. 4- negligence/untidiness- pieces of wire cut during instalation process was left inside the car which is unprofessional and a safety hazard. 5- sound system is still not playing properly. 1st week of November I went back to the montague branch to report all these issues, they said they would check cctv footage for theft and would fix all other issues. They said they were extremely busy and would contact me to fix all issues. Its the 1st week of December and they have not fixed anything or contacted me about it.

You told my husband yesterday Friday, 05 September 2025, to be there at 7:50, he arrived there at 07:47, on 06 September 2025, he was the 2nd person there. He left at 08:47, as he has another appointment at 11. If you are full DO NOT tell the clients to be there at a certain time, and YOU CANNOT keep to your time. He took all the stuff he purchased and will have it installed at another reputable company, that DOES NOT tell him to be there, and let him wait. If you tell the clients to be there a specific time, the client expects to be assisted at that time. If you know you are NOT gona finish the current vehicles you have the day the client comes in, explain to the client then and there, that there is a possibility tomorrow we won't be able to install immediately, as these vehicles was here first, and they need to go out first!!! He drove all the way out of Mitchells Plain to Montague Gardens, he could of gone to Athlone, but NO, YOU WANT TO MAKE THE SALE, so you will rather INCONVENIENCE the customer.

I had my tint redone at Soundmatch Plumstead on February 17th this year. Less than a month later, I noticed bubbles appearing on all my windows. I immediately contacted them to inform them of the issue, and they asked me to wait until a full month had passed. After waiting, I requested that they redo the tint since it was still within the warranty period. I took my car in for inspection, and while there, the tint technician mentioned the percentage of tint app**** to my vehicle. I told him that it didn’t seem correct, as I had been told that the tint would be at the percentage I requested. When I first picked up my car on February 17th, I had doubts because the tint appeared lighter than my previous one, so I asked his colleague at the time if he was sure it was the right percentage. He assured me it was. However, when I returned for the inspection, I learned that they had app**** a different tint percentage than what I had requested, which was a lie and misleading. On April 5th, I had the tint redone. After completing the side windows, one of the workers approached me about the potential risk of removing the tint from the back windows. However, when they initially tinted my car in February, there was no tint on the back window, and I had allowed them to apply it. The worker explained that the lines on the back window were demisters and that removing the tint could potentially damage them. The tint technician also mentioned that he had injured his finger and wasn’t working at full capacity, which made me even more uneasy. I had already lost trust in both the technician and the business, so I decided not to allow them to proceed with the removal for fear of damaging my demister and causing further issues. I feel that before they app**** the tint, they should have informed me about the risks, especially since I’m still young and lack a lot of knowledge about cars. I’m deeply disappointed by their lack of honesty and reliability from the start. When I spoke to the technician about the bubbles on my windows, he refused to take any responsibility. When I expressed my disappointment, he remarked that it didn’t seem like a problem for me and that it appeared I was doing well financially, implying that the mistake wouldn’t cause me any financial hardship. I found this remark completely inappropriate, as it made me feel judged and dismissed, as though my concerns weren’t being taken seriously. I’m sharing this experience to raise awareness and hopefully prevent others from facing similar issues.
