This guy's service was amazing not only did he assist me with my enquiry he went as far as telling me about the discount I had to reduce my excess... I bought a targa tape online from soundmatch only to find the ****** thing doesn't work doesn't even turn on I called them and they told me I must bring the tape or the car to CPT.... I'M IN JHB I SAID they ddnt even offer a way to courier it the same way it came to JHB...

I have been using rain since 2020 covid times initially when I took the service it was pay as you use now they keep adding money every month even though I'm not using the service keep charging me every month on top of that I have been waiting for my Sim swap for my 2 mobile Sim cards since 2023 this is really annoying everytime I log a ticket they say they have escalated but nothing gets done I must pay for a service I'm not using how does that make sense.
I am appalled by the service provided here i logged a call on Thursday for a faulty meter it is now sunday i have not received any assistance when i called Friday i was told technicians will be there after half 5 i rushed home no one came they said they will come Saturday morning i spent the whole of Saturday waiting and calling in and mi one came the team leader Sipho was supposed to call me back Saturday he ddnt i had to call back again to follow up still no1 came and no one called me back to provide me with feedback.. It is Sunday today i called at around 8 and got Dumsani a guy that ny sister spoke to yesterday that promised the team leader will call back and didn't again this morning Dumsani told me he will call me back or tje team leader Sipho will call again it is now 2hrs since my last call and i haven't received any communication i keep calling back and being put on hold i have spent almost R300 on airtime calling trying to get help and no one seems to want to assist me i am now starting to believe that they not taking me seriously maybe because im black.... I explained nicely that i have a small child he needs his bottle at night he needs hot water to bath he needs cooked food and this is how ekhuruleni treats their customers i am really fed up i no longer want to speak to the Team leader i now would like to speak to managers because these technicians are messing me around anyone know who i can contact?
I have been with rain since 2020 and never have i ever been this angry about the service provided to me firstly in the past rain was advertised as a month to month i in the past didnt pay for a month and they would cut off the service and id pay the next month no problems recently i stopped using the sim card because i was having connection issues so i thiought matbe it was the area that was in April i now end of August tried to reconnect the service and they told me the sim card was faulty i did the sim swap it came and last week Friday i got cut off again and they said ti have to pay another R499 thats absolute nonsense they have been charging me from April over all the months and noe they say i owe about 1500 where as when i joined it was stated if u don't use the service u dont pay so how am I now being charged for months where there was no data usage im so annoyed at this because we as customers are inconvenienced i use the service to do my work during the day and if im just going to get cut off like that it means i cant work wich may eventually lead to me losing my job... I haven't made provisions yo be paying extra data for the rest of the month... What am i supposed to do now.?
I paid the outstanding amount of R499 on the 25th of august and now thdy have cut off my connection saying that i am owing R499 again after they have been charging me from April when i was not using the service until August where the simcard they say was faulty now rain expects me to pay another R499 after paying R499 for being connected for 14 days how much sense does that make i am utterly apalled by the client service they are giving this is daylight ******* this is cheating the customer please see their email below rain we're here to help Hi Sabelo, Thank you for contacting rain. Takealot refused to refund me because of a charging cable for a pair of wireless earphones it took them about 2 weeks to come collect after i had to log a second return another week for them to tell me the outcome after i had to call them a number of times and now i have been waiting for almost a week for the items and no one has communicated anything i haven't even had this second pair for 6 months even and it stopped playing i want my money back
