I settled my bond account with Absa last year and have up until now trying to get in touch with them regarding my deeds papers. My details on their branch system hasn't been updated as well, so going to a branch was fruitless in applying for my deeds papers.
They have this national ad on TV saying that if you buy groceries for more than R350 you can get a pair of Bata toughness shoes for R75. Guess what, I did that that and they didn't have any shoes in stock. Now you tell me, a national groceries store, SPAR, don't have stock in their stores! What a shame and they want us to believe their TV ad! Shameful.
Bought a 1,5 litter Coke for supper tonight only to find out the Coke has a rubbery/polishy after taste. We at first thought it was our glasses that weren't rinsed properly but after rerinsing our glasses we all came to the conclusion that it was actually the Coke. So disappointing. 😩😩😩😩😩
Very unhelpful. Doesn't care, after spending almost R8000 on speakers and sub and amp. Having it installed about a month ago we find that the LHS speaker died, without any indications [ no burning smell, nothing, just dead] my son decided to take it back to Soundmatch to look at and without any checking was told that there's no warranty on speakers and told him that they need to send the speaker away for checking. They also told him that he didn't check if the speaker was playing before he left their shop. Now when you sit in your car and the system is playing surely you can hear a difference between 2 speakers playing and then only 1 speaker playing. We even switched the wires to check and that didn't work. I'm just disappointed that after spending he's money on the system to be given such heartless treatment for a fault which is clearly not he's doing. So people, just be careful when having this kind of thing done to your radio system only to discover a fault afterwards and going through the same treatment as my son did.
I visited DHA Bellville yesterday to collect my new ID and I went to ask the security at the front door where to go, thinking that because I'm a pensioner, I would be able to go straight in. I was told to go stand in a line stretching about 200m down. I went back to him saying that I'm a pensioner, he dismissed me and tells me to go stand in the line. I just want to know if this us the treatment the DHA hands out to senior citizens? If so, then it's disgusting.
I just went to McDonalds here in Cabalier Centre Belhar and to my dismay I discovered that they don't accept scan payments. Living a distance from the store, I had to ask a couple who was at the store to pay as I didn't have my bankcard with me, only my cellphone. So it was a bit of an embarrassment as I couldn't understand why this McDonalds don't have a scan facility, I mean, a USA company and they lacking the technology????
I find it very strange that in Cape Town, which is predominantly coloured, you don't get a bus service to Paarden Eiland for workers. Surprisingly, the only towns you get a bus service from is the black townships, mmmmmh, I wonder why. People living in the Delft and surrounding areas are not privvy to receive this service.
Hi, my name is Peter Jantjies and I make use if Gabs to take me to work and back home. I reside in Bishop Lavis and when I travel by bus I get the Bontheuwel to Tygerberg Stn bus in the mornings and vice versa in the afternoon. My gripe is that I pay R17,50 per ride costing me R35,00 per day to travel to work and back. I decided to get me a Gold card as I thought that this would be cheaper but to my surprise when I loaded my ticket I had to pay R204,00. Now this works out to being R29,00 more than if I had to pay my fare on a daily basis and when I queried this I was told that they don't have a service for Bishop Lavis to Tygerberg Stn. I can't understand this as the bus is full in the mornings as well as in the afternoon, so why can't GABS arrange a service fee for Bishop Lavis to Tygerberg Stn as a lot of PEP factory workers also make use if this service. I think this is absolutely unfair towards us workers that stays in Bishop Lavis to be charged the fee of R204,00 and also GABS are misinforming their passengers about the Gold card being g a cheaper option. I sincerely hope that they will do a survey to find out about the amount of people making use of this service in the Bishop Lavis area and then charge us accordingly.
Hi, I usually make use of Cash Crusaders when I'm in need of a short term loan by taking my stuff to them on a buyback. I took my 42" inch Smart TV to them recently on a buyback and found out thàt Caeh crusaders is no more and they've now changed to Cash Xchange. I proceeded with the transaction only to find out now that they don't operate in the same way as Cash crusaders did. Firstly, Crusaders would send me an SMS as whenni needed to come make payment and that i would usually have 5 days in which to do that after my maturity date. My maturity date for Cash Xchange was on the 21st March 2024 and I went on the 26th March 2024 to have my contract extended only to be told that I was too late and that my item waa now released to be sold on the floor. I am a bit aggrieved at this as I thought that the same conditions app**** as per Cash Crusaders but I was wrong. I am disappointed because my 5 day grace period has not expired yet but I was totally wrong thinking that the same conditions app**** as with Cash Crusaders.
Good day, I took out a cellphone with above company for a HTC Wildfire cellphone last year August 2023. I'm now experiencing problems with my phone with the following: my battery is swollen up which causes my phone to shut down anytime and the only way to use it is to have the power supply fitted continuously, how do u do that,? Secondly I was involved in a smash and grab, managed to wrestle the guy for my phone, but the phone fell causing my screen yo crack. I went to a Pakistani cellshop to see if they can have it repaired, they informed me that they don't carry HTC phone stick. I contacted Blue Label Connect customer care and have them a detailed explanation of the problems and still waiting for them to reply positively. I am planning to cancel my contract should they not be able to assist me in repairing my phone. They are very quick to offer you our a cellphone contract but lack the after sales service especially for a model of phone where there's nobody able to repair it
