I am tired of the "take it or leave it" attitude of many shops that sell irrigation supplies in the Bellville Area. No customer service. Spilhous Boland in Stikland is an exception to that trend. Werner and his team have gone out of their way to help me and to provide suggestions for my situation and to go the extra mile to get the goods that I needed - even though they did not stock it. Well done! You have won my loyalty.

I have just bought an expensive wedding gift from Spilhaus in Constantia Village, Cape Town for a wedding taking place mid Feb 2025. After I had paid for the goods the sales lady tells me they have a 6 day policy for any returns. The wedding is a calendar month away so how can I possibly honour that very limited returns policy? Plus it contravenes the South African Consumer Protection Act which stipulates - Unsuitable goods: Consumers can return goods within 10 business days of delivery if they are unsuitable for their intended purpose. How can this matter be rectified? They also have a NO REFUND policy clearly printed on the invoice - is that legal?

Absolute amazing service ! I bought jewelry online a few times and every time it was exceeding my expectation. Delivery was very fast, once even arrived the next day. The items were beautifully packed with care and the order was always correct. I don't understand the bad reviews, I wonder if people are reading up enough on the item they order? not sure

I had exceptional service from Spilhaus when I ordered online. They packed the crystal with great care, shipped immediately (the glasses arrived the same day!) & followed up to ensure I was happy. Well done!

They sold us Costume Jewelry. My partner bought me a Rose Gold ring and was told it is ROSE GOLD. He paid a **** load for it and after many emails and phone calls to Spilhaus, sending images and sending it to head offices I was told that I did not look after my ring. I do not even use chemicals on my hands, or wash dishes, I work at a desk! I sent the ring to be tested and was shown that its fake, not even real gold or rose gold, its costume jewellery!? And now they are not even willing to reimburse me or exchange or anything?!?! I can't even get it fixed! Disgusted

I bought a Swarovski watch from Spilhaus Menlyn on 27 Nov 2014. When I was deciding what to buy I worried that the stones in the strap would fall out. The saleslady told me that they had a 1 yr guarantee & this made me change my mind. The stones started falling out of the strap within a few months. I took the watch into Spilhaus Menlyn on 9 Aug 2015 with its warranty. The salespeople took a photo of the watch & told me they would have to contact Swarovski Europe to confirm that there was a warranty on the strap. I received a call from Spilhaus on 11 Aug & I was told that Swarovski Eur would replace the watch strap within 6 weeks & someone would call me when it arrived. I never received another call from Spilhaus, so on 13 Nov I went into the store to find out if the new strap had arrived. The salespeople had no idea what I was talking about & had to go back through their records to find my claim. They did find my strap that had arrived from Europe. They started the process again-took a photo of the strap, emailed Swarovski Eur AGAIN to find out if it was covered under warranty. They called me this morning & said there is no warranty & i must buy a new strap! Someone has lied to me
