WOOLWORTHS ONLINE Is surprisingly terrible for such a big company . Beware , they don't care about their customer service and support . Not only is their website terrible to use and very outdated but you are risking buying online from them when you try to return something they dont warn customers that they are not a fully serviced online store you have to physically return the item at a store only to get there and told a physical receipt is not proof of pay you have to show them the electronic receipt not one printed from your email or online shopping but they never warn you that you either need to show the receipt if you have an app or bring in your laptop and show them the email. Laughable but true ! Woolworths live in 1993 and I think its shear arrogance that they dont care how bad their service is. This is one incident of many . I never give them the benefit of the doubt anymore I just gave up
Wish I could give less than one - don't buy from them they will make it impossible to return an item if it's too big. They claim you can book a return call but you won't be able to. They claim they can't find the order number or your profile details
I am sure they don't care about customer complaints so they prob won't read reviews, but I really think it should be pointed out that the excuse they give : "" South Africans are dumping DStv as access to affordable uncapped broadband improves and online streaming services gain popularity" and the given reason why they seemed to be losing alot of money is BS........ The fact is that their service has been really bad for a long time and their app for streaming have always been terrible, fraught with so much issues. That is the real reason people are dumping them now that there is competition from much better quality streaming apps from channels with better quality programs. They just never bothered to evolve and compete in the market. Don't blame prices or broadband

Absolutely 5 star service from beginning to end!! I expected alot from them, I wanted inported fabric and it took alot of extra service and planning as well as design issues because of the pattern. But through it all Gabi was always friendly, helpful and gracious. She arranged for storage and delivery months later and everything went so smooth it was such a pleasure to do bussiness with them. Thank you to Gabi and the team at sofaworx !
Absolute amazing service ! I bought jewelry online a few times and every time it was exceeding my expectation. Delivery was very fast, once even arrived the next day. The items were beautifully packed with care and the order was always correct. I don't understand the bad reviews, I wonder if people are reading up enough on the item they order? not sure
I went to Kitchen studio in Cape Town to get a quote for a new home we are building. To my disappointment there was no consultant at 12 o'clock in the afternoon on a Friday and was told to rather phone as it looked like no was would help me that day. We flew in especially that week to look at kitchen and bathroom prices. I then phoned them on Tuesday and spoke to Courtney. I told him that I have a basic kitchen floorplan with measurements of each and every cupboard and all the Blum runners, hinges and furniture fittings I will need and asked for a basic estimate - to compare with other kitchen designers. He told me that it was impossible to work of measurements and that he would need an Architectural drawing of the kitchen. I asked him if it would help to email said floorplan and rough drawing and he said no, impossible as they need to send an architectural drawing to the factory and then the Quantity Surveyor at the factory would work out an estimate. I was completely speechless - it made no sense to me........I asked him if I understood him correctly and he said yes. I phoned the Gauteng branch just to check and she basically told me he lied to me, she can work out an estimate with what I have ( I send her everything ......2 weeks ago , haven't heard from her again). I felt terrible, he seriously thought I was stupid and wasting his time. In hindsight reading all the reviews I realised he did me a favour. I had no problem with other companies, in fact I got an estimate within 24hours after mailing Hollywood furniture, and the service so far has been very good and their furniture is incredibly well designed .
We bought two tables on a very buys blackfriday weekend, we ordered over the phone on Sunday and received the tables on Tuesday midday. We had to arrange our own courier to pick up the purchase as we are located in a different city than the store, but everything was well packed and ready for the pickup. I have to give special thanks to Pearl and Daniela for their help! The whole experience started of shaky when we first spoke to a different branch but as soon as we got to Pearl the experience got much better. I spoke to Daniela through the SHF facebook page and she was so friendly and kind and went out of her way to make sure we get the delivery on time that it made the whole experience absolutely 5 star. The tables are beautiful, very good quality and we got it at a very good price. If I can work with Pearl or Daniela next time I will definitely buy from SHF again.
