STAY AWAY!!! They have lost of promises. You will not get what you paid for and what you get does not work. After paying them we still had to pay loads of money just to get the trailer working. This being said after paying Chris he said our trailer would be ready for trading in a week, we went to go pick up our trailer 15 weeks later and still not in working order. Here is some: Paint job on trailer has drops They promise you branding - do not For COA the trailer is not compliant - you can not trade No spare wheel They do not help with number plate and registration. Equipment given with trailer was second hand and not fitted. Gas installation Insulation of trailer The floor is of trailer is ply wood No water tanks. STAY AWAY!!

Dealing with this company Street Food Trucks or Wheely Concepts or Food Street Truck. Has been an absolute nightmare from day 1!!!! Mr Christo Daniel Daniels and his wife Janet Daniels are the biggest con artists going. Mr Daniels promises you the sun moon and stars when you first meet him. To get him to design and build your food truck but all you get from this company is stress, tears, anger and you going to open a case of ***** against them!!! We got our food truck after 15 weeks past the time frame the invoice states and only to get our food truck not branded( with our business details) no equipment that was suppose to be installed with the price amount you paid! Just a food truck which we now have to spend more money( which we don't have) to brand our food truck and get our equipment in it so that we can work. Do yourself a favour don't EVER EVER use this company you will only end up stressed and angry! Wheely Concepts STREET FOOD TRUCKS PTY LTD FOOD STREET TRUCK. Worst company ever I wouldn't even let my worst enemy use their services.😡😡😡😡😡

ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE. In 2018 we bought a food truck from Chris & Janet (Street Food Trucks). They were quit ***** with payment etc. We picked up the Daf, the food truck, and drive with it to Ceres where we are based. 20km from their warehouse, the truck broke down. We tried to phone and email them, NO RESPONSE. We were stuck next to the N7, which was pretty scary and unsafe for two girls. After weeks of trying to get hold of them, with no luck, we decided to get a lawyer involved. At this stage our funds were exhausted, and we could go very far with the suing process. They set up their contracts that they are covered. After we cut our losses - we spent another R60 000.00 on the truck to get it to work, and to start making money. This was a very painful process, especially as we started this business with exactly the amount we needed and did not have many other resources to spend extra money. The engin was not working, the gearbox was faulty, could only use 1st, 2nd and 5th gear. Speedometer did not work; lights and indicators did not work. This all result in the fact that we could not get it through roadworthy. I think a lot of the clients that start a small business like this, is not in a position to spend any extra money. Five years later, I got a call from Chris, he has got someone that would like to buy our truck. I was happy to sell it, as we have literally just been struggling to keep head above water as we spent about an extra R80 000.00 extra and Covid happened in between. This was in the first quarter of last year (2023). I have still not receive all the money for the truck. Every single month, for more that 12 months, they have been saying "we are paying at the end of this month". They also do not want to tell me where the truck is, as I would like to collect it and make a deal myself with another buyer. This has been the most painful process of my life. It has been dragging on for 6 years in total. DO NOT USE SUPPORT STREET FOOD TRUCKS. There are many other companies in Cape Town, that will give you good service and that will be honest with you.

CAUTION We ordered a new tuk-tuk from Street Food Trucks (also trading as SFT Pty Ltd) including a custom build fit-out unit on the back of the tuk-tuk on behalf of one of our clients in September 2024. They advised at the time that there was only 1 tuk-tuk available in the country and that we had to pay in full for the tuk-tuk itself within 48 hours to secure availability, which we duly did based on a "brand new and on the road" tuk-tuk as confirmed by Chris Daniels and as per the specs we received. The custom fit-out unit on the back of the tuk-tuk was then quoted for and paid for separately, including full balance payment as Street Food Trucks refused to release the tuk-tuk before they did not receive proof of the balance payment. Street Food Trucks' quote indicated that the quote included transport from Cape Town to Johannesburg, but when it came down to it, they retracted this and said it only included an estimate, but have been unable to confirm what estimate was included in the quote. To still deliver on our client's deadline, we ended up having to arrange and pay extra for transport with a 3rd party transport company. The very short of a very long story is that we ended up with a RUSTED, RESPRAYED 2014 MODEL tuk-tuk in December only (deadline for delivery was beginning November which also resulted in us having to hire and pay for an alternative tuk-tuk on behalf of the client out of our own pocket for the first event that tuk-tuk was ordered for), that also FAILED AN AA ROADWORTHY TEST. Up to date we have also NOT RECEIVED ANY REGISTRATION PAPERS as per the quote/contract with Street Food Trucks. Fast forward 3 months and no acknowledgement of any of the e-mails or phone calls to Street Food Trucks, our client agreed to take possession of the tuk-tuk as a display unit only as opposed to a vehicle that can travel on the road at a large discounted rate. En route to the company that had to brand the tuk-tuk, the back custom fit-out unit broke off the back of the tuk-tuk that caused the tuk-tuk to veer off the road. It turned out that the entire custom fit-out unit was only attached to the tuk-tuk body with 4 MEAGRE *****S. See photos of the accident as per Google review: https://www.google.com/maps/place/SFT+PTY+LTD/@-33.824428,18.533303,17z/data=!4m6!3m5!1s0x1dcc59b657eff5e9:0xe3f32b027e967587!8m2!3d-33.8244325!4d18.5358833!16s%2Fg%2F11lgsglgl1?entry=ttu Up to date Chris Daniels have not responded to any of our queries or e-mails that ended up with the tuk-tuk being in an accident and us having to refund our client the deposit they paid (for which the balance would have been paid once the tuk-tuk was delivered to them) over and above the full amount that we paid over to Street Food Trucks. And still no word or response from Chris Daniels (or Janet or Simon or Leon) at Street Food Trucks to own up to any of the financial nor reputational damage they have caused.

I have been trading for 4 months now, the wait was longer than expected but the overall product worth it considering the market research I did. Lost a flap due to the wind and the team assist quickly and smoothly to get me on the road again

As a follow up to my review of Street Food Trucks (Pty) Ltd dated 03 November 2023 below : 11th March 2024 our new grinder that was included with the coffee trailer purchased in October 2023 was not working. I contacted SFT via whatsap the morning of the 12th March informing them of this and as the grinder would still be under guarantee (5 months old) I requested the details of the supplier or alternatively the invoice details. I received the details of Windtrade with a mobile number from SFT. Windtrade confirmed that they were not the suppliers of that make of grinder and I went back to SFT informing them of the response. I then received notification that Bruno coffee were the suppliers but with no contact details. Despite numerous follow up messages I am yet to receive the details of the supplier or purchase information from SFT. SFT advertise in their brochure that the coffee trailer & equipment are covered with a year guarantee but fail to respond to any requests for information - therefore their "guarantee" means absolutely nothing ! If you attend to repairing the equipment yourself SFT refuse to refund you for the said repairs as their policy is " Nobody except SFT are allowed to attend to any repairs or maintenance on the coffee trailer" but yet don't attend to any requests for repairs. BEWARE of STREET FOOD TRUCKS (PTY) LTD !!
