I dealt with Johan Coetzee at Stucco Italiano in Western Cape. It was for the installation of new concrete kitchen tops. There has been numerous issues. When they first installed the tops they were not in line, they did not match up, it looked like a backyard job. The guy who did my kitchen cupboards actually did not want to continue his part as the tops looked so bad. Johan agreed that they had to remove the tops, which they did. They replaced them and then they had to reseal them all. The had to sand down and reseal three times to get it right or so we thought. They were not sure how thick the sealant was suppose to be etc etc. This coming from people who apparently have been doing granite kitchen countertops for years. Sealant kept pulling off, it took 4 weeks to complete a 3 day job. We are now at 7 months later and guess what? The sealant has come off so badly that the sinks just came loose from the cement top. This is terrible. Their showroom looks amazing and they are all very friendly, but it seriously looks to me like this is the first kitchen they have ever done in their lives. They are all talk and no action. They try but hey, they don’t know what they are doing. I would not recommend them at all. Avoid them at all costs.

A note to all in the construction industry to avoid this company. WODC took over a year to complete terrazzo flooring for a house, large cracks that constantly needed to be repaired, sealant that was peeling off, there was zero concern from WODC regarding the delays, constant begging for updated completion dates, eventually they decided to use the "expensive sealant" which did not peel off. Stucco have also failed to provide an acceptable floor finish at a boutique hotel that has cost the client a significant amount of money in bookings.

The worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. They started my floor on 21 November 2018 and said it would take 5 weeks. In June 2019 they had still only completed 60 percent of the floor. The quality of their workmanship is absolutely terrible. They literally have no clue what they are doing. They promised me 2 teams to work on the job but only sent a team of 4 people. There was absolutely no supervision on-site and just excuse and lie after lie. The floors they have 'finished' are not flat, have holes in them, and are discoloured. I can't actually believe what charlatans these people are. Please do not waste your time and money with this company.

Dear all, I consulted with Johan Coetzee, owner of World of Decorative Concrete and Stucco Italiano to “rescue” my newly built house floor that my builder messed up by walking through the freshly casted floor. Johan assured me that he could fix it. Long story short, the granulitic overlay that he installed was poorly and unevenly done. The ***ment consistency is also poor. There is cracks in my floor and patio. The edges of the patio came lose. I asked several times for him to come and rectify and only after a time period of 8 months I gave up asking. Please do not use them!

The issues have been resolved, Stucco Italiano has payed my deposit back for the 2nd phase that I had planed and cancelled. They also offered to come and have a look at the 1st phase floor that they had done and would be prepared to improve on it

I had Stucco Italiano do a bathroom and bedroom floor, the result was shocking looked like an old floor with dark marks on a white floor and bubbles in the glaze. They did it a second time - not much better it took all together 8 weeks. I had booked a 2. Phase, kitchen and lounge with them, which I cancelled. They kept half of my deposit and charged me an additional R 1800 for a technical advisor to come out - Shocking - everybody please stay away from this company!
