What went wrong at Suntek?
I had four Suntek Louvre roofs installed at two different sites and received excellent service from Suntek. I am a returning customer and would like to have a louvre roof installed to match the previous...... and boom! Gone is all the good Suntek reputation! Late September 2022 I submit a request for an installation/quote. After two weeks, I repeated the request. In October 2022 I again submitted a request, again follow by another two week later. I never received a response. With peak season approaching, I assumed that Suntek will be under pressure and I waited till January 2023, but still no response. On 12 January 2023, I phoned Suntek and they undertook to contact me the following day to book an appointment with me for the next week. On the same day (12 Jan 23) a staff member from Suntek was observed in the area I live. However, to date I received no response from Suntek or any intention to book an appointment. This is NOT the Suntek I got to know. It seems that Suntek sadly is not bothered by negative publications or hellopeter.

Suntek Awnings cant be bothered once they have been paid !!!
I had awnings installed in 2020 one was manual the other automatic The automatic one gave various problems and now will not open at all Numerous discussions with a lady called Rikka have varied from - "No we don't do Services" to "you need to get on a ladder and oil all the joints ??????? '" when I told her but I'm 78 years old that's why i need a service person - she said " ask a neighbour to do it " SO MUCH FOR GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE

Not impressed at all!!!!! I requested a quote from Eduard to repair my awning. He requested pictures. NO RESPONSE FROM HIM!!! I then sent an email to Suntek.... GUESS WHAT....NO RESPONSE. You guys are useless and will ending up closing your doors!

Suntek Awnings
Suntek erected our first carport roofs in 2012 and numerous since then. Always punctual, professional and reasonable prices. I can recommend Suntek to anybody considering to install any awning or roofing

Bad Customer Service, avoid Yolande and Suntek.
25/2/2019 There is a Yolande working at Suntek in Pretoria. They have installed Roof Awnings in Pretoria North at a complex. We contacted Suntek to come and service the roof awnings. They gave us a quote. The land lord opted to have the service and repairs done end of February 2019. Yolande wanted the full invoice paid upfront and then, the land lord had to wait 2 weeks before the work can be done, after she had to pay the invoice in full. I have my own business and I understand that, the more I keep my customer happy, the more business I will receive from the customer. Interesting that the land lord is willing to pay 50% upfront and the remaining 50% afterwards. Yolande and Suntek did not want to know anything about this as they state that they had to chase too many customers for payment, which is understandable. Why not accept the 50% deposit and remainder on completion of the work? Her attitude is really damaging to Suntek. Clearly, one can hear that she is working for a salary and do not have the business' best interest at heart. Customer service.... 0/10 today.

Faulty Roof, Bad Service and Communication
This issue started back in 2014.Our roof was installed,and ever since then we've been having endless issue. NO ONE can tell me in detail what the problem is.And we still having issues, the roof is still leaking, and its starting to damage my cupboard and walls.I have stared a paper trail this year and I have asked them on the 25th Feb to go and see what the issue is and give me feedback, they've been at the house this week, but to date no one has given me any feedback. And the rood is still leaking, BIG surprise. The last communication I've received was on the 11th Feb. So in a nutshell, my roof has been leaking since 2014, I've paid R40000.00 for it, no one is getting back to me with a solution or a reason as to what the issue is. I have the email trail should anyone want to see it as evidence,i have also taken pictures of the roof leaking. I insist on a refund, because I will have to get someone else to fix the roof. I will never use Sunteck again, nor will i recommend them to anyone.. They have a bad attitude towards faulty roofs and paying customers..
