Disgusting Service! We sent our 2022 Suzuki Swift for a standard service, as we did last year. (All on Suzuki file). When the rude lady phoned me yesterday to say the clutch etc needed replacing and it was very expensive, I felt we didn't have choice and authorized them to go ahead with the parts and the repair. Today, I got a WhatsApp - not even a rude call - to say the radiator needed replacing too. Now the price had gone up to R25 000!!! It's a fifth of the value of the car! I was horrified! I asked how come this wasn't noted yesterday when they originally checked the car out? They gave me a whole bunch of ******* answers! So, I told them to just give me the car, and I would take it elsewhere. This was not possible as the car is in pieces in their workshop. I then agreed to do the clutch repair, as that was the original agreement, but that they should give me a discount. Guess what the discounted amount is R2000 more than the verbal quote I was given yesterday. DO NOT GO THERE! They told me a whole bunch of muddled up stories about why everything they have done was a lie etc. I am so upset they are putting parts in my car. I DO NOT TRUST THEM AT ALL! I want to know how a 3 year old good quality car, that does "town driving" to work and back, and has 75 000km on the clock has all these broken parts to the value of R25 000????? I also want to know how the quote from yesterday is different to the one from today? And how the people I spoke to all have different stories about everything??????

Can Suzuki please explain the cost of their service. I just had my daughter Suzuki Swift Serviced with a major service and the cost is R8,800 for a tiny 1.2litre motor. I had a major service on my 2.8 Litre Toyota Fortuner. Both vehicles had disks replaced and I had the Fortuner Battery replace. With the battery replacement the Fortuner service was cheaper than the Suzuki. The brake pads on the Fortuner are double the size of the Suzuki, the oil that is replaced in the Fortuner is more than double the Suzuki. Filters are all much larger so how in all reasonableness does Suzuki service end up almost R2,000 more than a new Toyota Fortuner. The cost of the service was almost 5.5% of the original cost of the vehicle while the cost for the Fortuner was 1.1% of the original cost of the vehicle. When I spoke to Suzuki SA they state they have no control as all dealerships are owned individually. Really great way to destroy your brand
