Don't trust cardashcam.co.za
This is a warning to all who are thinking about doing business with this company. On 02/10/2025 I purchased a VANTRUE N4 PRO dash cam. The company said that this item was in stock and that they would ship within 3-5 business days.7 days after I purchased and paid for this item, the company said that they were still processing my order. I first tried to reach out by phone but received no response, subsequently I then email the company. I received no response. I finally got a return email on day 8, saying that their VOIP was down and that they did not have the stock on hand. They also said that the bulk order they had placed with their supplier would be received within 7 days. Once again, I emailed the company on 02/25/2025 as the site said my order was still being processed. Following my email, the company responded informing me that their bulk order had not been shipped to them yet and that they did not have an ETA for me. I then emailed them and inquired about compensation due to the delay. I received a response mail from them, saying that they would refund my money as a compensation. They then refunded my payment; no apology or further explanation was given by them. I tried contact then again by phone to no avail.

Car Dashcam Store is a Joke
I totally agree with Morne. I have been trying to get stock from Thomas Wheeler since 17 September 2024. I also am getting the same answer. He is waiting for 600 units that will land in a week, or he just need to register 80 units then he will send it. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I totally agree with Morne. I have been trying to get stock from Thomas Wheeler since 17 September 2024. I also am getting the same answer. He is waiting for 600 units that will land in a week, or he just need to register 80 units then he will send it. STAY AWAY STAY AWAY!!!!!!

He will take your money and not inform you after you have paid that there is no stock. When you query why your product has not shipped he will give you a story about some company having taken all his stock a few hours before your order and that he is waiting for new stock. When you ask for a refund, although your funds have been in their account for days, he will make you wait. And after all this, he will reply with un-professional comments and child like behaviour. All in all a very poor experience to be had.

The Car Dashcam Store has been truly phenomenal in the high level of reliable service they have provided to me every time I have dealt with them. I can definitely only Highly Recommend them to anyone looking for quality Dashcam Equipment & Requirements.

Ordered a new A229 dashcam from them. Stock was ordered from overseas. with in a few days i had my new dashcam.

Unprofessional response, contradicts information provided by the distributor
Reached out to them to assist with a replacement part, as per direct coversation with Viofo. The company rep I was speaking to immediately responded with snarky feedback because I didn't buy my camera from them, making unprofessional excuses that they refuse to assist me because they are the sole distributors for Viofo in South Africa, ******** to the fact that Viofo themselves did not suggest using them to assist with a replacement part, and instead suggested that I import directly. This company's first response was to respond unprofessionally, instead of offering assistance. I wouldn't recommend them if I never needed support with any of the products they sell. Rather contact the distributors overseas, as they are day and night more professional and helpful.
