I used the computer hut for more than a year. In October, I informed them that my bank account had been hacked, and I would make payment in a few days. To show good faith, I paid them R900. Then in November, a debit order close to R2000 was deducted from my account without my authorization. When I raised the issue, the accountant switched off the fiber connection because I wasn't answering my phone. However, I was presenting in a webinar at the time. Following this, the accountant refunded me the R900. It’s perplexing to me why someone would want money back for services rendered. I wonder if, because we live in a small town, people feel they can act with impunity. I then received an extensive email threatening me with blacklisting and debt review, as if I were a child. If the computer hut wants to enhance their brand, this is certainly not the way to do it.

Reported my wi fi connection off on Saturday, was told my computer hut box must have blown. How? They didn't check . I had it for a month and it's not directly connected to plug. And we always take our plugs out during load shedding. Even so , I was told someone was going to be send out. The weekend passed, nobody came. Monday morning I called . The would call me back in 1 hour. After 16h00 hours I called again , they where going to call back in 5 min. I'm still waiting. Terrible customer service . And further more they charge R800 TO replace the box .mine " blew "twice in 2 months. Cheap Chinese make ..is this how they earn easy money?

I'm fed up with this incompetent company....I've being battling to get this fibre connection to work with them. All downloads except firefox ftp installable downloads are very slow not even 200k on a prepaid 100mb line! I would like to give this effing prepaid to somebody else cos this is just a total waste of time. What bunch of bandits well I ain't one of those guys who live in gansbaai and don't know nothing! I'm gonna give this account to somebody else cos its no use to me whatsoever. I've spoken to bennie on numerous occasions about my issues and there freaking after hours number goes back to their office number......how stupid is THAT! Basically only local downloads are at a 10mbs everything else is just 200k!
