Marco Polo holiday club is a **** , i booked a christmas deal holiday with them for 4 days in crystal springs mpumalanga , on the 21th November2023 i got an email that says the company has temporarily closed down , this message says the company closed down on the 20th November to date we are still waiting our refunds if at all we will receive our refunds is a story for another day , I am highly dissapointed with Marco polo holiday club , Where are we supposed to get space now ? all the places are fully booked , MARCO POLO HOLIDAY CLUB IS A **** , I WANT MY REFUND AND WILL NEVER USE YOU AGAIN , NOT NOW NOT EVER

I visited The Marco Polo at around 11 AM on 04/02/2022. This was my first time visting and I couldn't believe how rude and unprofessional the lady at the security counter was. All I did was shield her view with my hand on the screen while typing in my ID number and she laughed loudly in a mocking tone in my face. I will never be back, I've never been treated with such indignity and disrespect by anyone like that before.

Good morning everyone. So I now have a very different take on my experience with Santam who are the insurers for Tsogo Sun and after my negative review I had a call from the senior staff handling the claim. In the past week I have been contacted at least 3 times a day telephonically and via email to give me an update on my claim. I am very happy to say that the claim has been settled and the funds will be in my account soon. I always believe in th at as much as a person complains on the flipside when things are handled in this professional way one then needs to say thank you and compliment. I was at the Marco Polo on the 1st November 2020 and went to draw money came back and the lady said to me hurry hurry in a very unfriendly way. So that is what I did as I was entering the very heavy glass doors started closing on me and I put my hand up to protect myself and try and stop it. I was in a lot of pain mainly my thumb. I reported the incident immediately to the manager on duty. I then went back there the next night and spoke to both Managers Dirk and Keith and they looked at the camera and acknowledged the incident. I had to go for medical attention as in X Rays and was told my thumb was fractured and had to be in a splint for a few weeks. I advised them physically by taking all the medical bills to Marco Polo and gave them to Dirk. I was eventually contacted after some time by a lady called Maree-Louise Uren from Santam Insurance and she said she would think about whether or not they should pay me out. She was in touch with me twice after that and up until now after sending endless emails and trying to call have heard nothing further. I have suffered severe pain and with the colder weather can feel the immobility of using my thumb. I was assured by the PR Lady at Tsogo Sun that the matter would be dealt with speedily. We are now talking nearly 4 months down the line. I also lost earnings in not being able to do my work for a few weeks.

<p>Hie Sir/Madam<br />I went to MarcoPolo at Sandton on the 30th of September, I got there as usual around after 24H00, so it was already 1st of Oct I played until the time to close at 04H00am.</p> <p>What happened the attendent Marko came to me and said (03H45 they are closing cash desk), after he said that I did cashout my ticket from the machine at 03H40.</p> <p>I got to the cashier at 03H41, if I get there I findout that they did put extansions which means they closed. I opened those extansions and get it the queue, bcoz they were people on the queue.<br />The cashier (Monica) said she's closed so she can't pay me. I told her ( 03H45 is not yet reached) she said her time and mine are not the same and she can do what ever she want. We started arguing until her manager came (Peter).<br />I told him the story and he said to me if she say so there's nothing he can do, I asked how? bcoz Marko said they close cashiers desk at 03H45 but I came here before that time. He said if I have a problem I must contact gambling board, then he started shouting.</p> <p>After shouting he said to me if you keep complaining here (I'll tell security to get you out), I said its fine let them do so.</p> <p>Then security came and take me out. <br />The following night I went back bcoz I had the ticket which is not cashed out. When I get at the entrance security guy said to me (you are not allowed to enter here, you are banned). <br />I asked I'm banned bcoz of what? He said bcoz of incident of morning. I said its fine, give me the contacts of your headoffice the guy told me about gambling board, I said no I need for MarcoPolo not gambling board.<br />The other guy came from inside and took my ticket to cash out it, he gave me contact numbers, I said to him (may I have email address) he look at me and said (they dont have) and he left.<br />He left me standing at the entrance the security guys they just look at me and started giggling as I'm stupid.<br />After a long stand my friend came, I asked him to check for me the email address on notice he did as I asked bcoz the Marco Polo staff they refuse to give me.<br />So my question is this, "to ask why they dont keep the time" does this make someone to be banned at the premises as they did to me. I've been going at MarcoPolo for 3yrs now.</p> <p>If you dont take action wth the attitude of Monica you are in trouble.<br />Everyone is scared to say anything to her as I was explaining to Peter he turns he's back to me and he does'nt want to listen what Im telling him. I told him to check the footage so that he can prove who was wrong on this issue which made me banned at MarcoPolo.</p> <p>Thanks<br /> <br /> </p>

<p>To whom it may concern,</p> <p> </p> <p>I would like to express my disappointment in the service that I received from the Polo Rosebank Branch.</p> <p> </p> <p>About 6 weeks ago I returned the Polo shoe that I purchased from your store because the right shoe was pulling to the side (The shoe was skew). I bought the shoe about 10 weeks ago and only had it in my possession for 4 weeks and it has been with the store from the 11/12 May 2016 to date.</p> <p> </p> <p>I was informed 3 weeks ago that the shoes were sent to the Polo head office to be investigated and they promised me that I will receive feedback soon. On Tuesday (21.06.2016) I called the branch again to find out if they had any feedback but the employee who assisted me telephonically informed me that they have received the stock back and will revert back to me on the 23/6/2015.</p> <p> </p> <p>I followed up with the branch AGAIN today the 24.06.2016 and was informed that I will receive a call from someone to provide me with feedback (I don’t know who is someone or when they will contact me).</p> <p> </p> <p>I find the service from the store pathetic and I am disgusted to say the least.</p> <p> </p> <p>I am extremely disappointed with the service that I am receiving from the store and I do not want to lose my trust in Polo as I have been a loyal customer to the brand for many years, is this how you treat your customers?</p> <p> </p> <p>I really hope that my complaint will be handled as crucial because I will take matters further by going to the social media with this.</p>
