I have since taken up a funeral policy for myself and my children since 2022. I have been paying my premiums until I changed the card. I phoned them and requested for their banking details so that I can continue to pay the premium month to month and I was told I had skipped a month and it would lapse o if I don't pay an amount of R281.00 I then paid a little extra as I didn't want to lose the money that I had paid since 2022.i phoned their office to enquire if I wanted to cancel would they refund me the premiums that I had paid already and the consultant that I spoke to said No they don't do refunds I would forfeit all the money that I've paid to them. I asked her if that was allowed by law and she failed to answer me, i then asked her for the ombudsman contact number as I was planning to take it further but instead of cancelling I then decided to continue to pay the premium then last month after making a payment I sent them the proof of payment a day later I was told my account is inactive and I should call their call Centre I rep**** and asked the consultant what she meant by inactive and she never came back to me.

****mers who target elderly people and rob them of their hard earned money. They dont want to tell me whats included they beating around the bush. They never even tell my claim amount. Gave my details 14 days ago and still awaiting payment. Refer to claim number PO6EFADMYO.

I called easypay insurance on the 1st of October to ask them to cancel my policy then I just took my number and said they will get back to me before the end of the day or the following day,which they didn't do.On the 2nd of October I called them again then a guy by the name of Sidney said he will help me to cancel my policy then I asked him to send me a policy schedule and a cancellation letter but he just send a cancellation letter only and his asking for the cancellation letter from his department then he will call to check if I got it and he said I will get it they the end of the day or the following day which I didn't.then on the 4th I called again to ask for the cancellation letter then they tell me they are not giving out the cancellation letters their system just send out a cancellation sms which I didn't get.

I had made a claim for my mother who was the policy holder. Submitted all the documents on the 17th at their offices. Started following up since they said 48hrs which they didn't honor. Received an SMS on 23rd night saying my claim is missing pages 2 and 3 of the BI documents. Which i dont understand because i had submitted everything. Sent the documents. Kept calling them to follow up i have been taken from pillar to post with no exact answer either than these stupid ticket numbers they keep generating everytime I call for follow up. Its so sad we had to borrow money to bury my mother who trusted this company to bury her yet she wasn't instead she was buried by borrowed money. Today is the 30th September I have not received any money no feedback. No1 knows anything when I call it's the same stupid answer its with the claims department its being escalated. Next step is the ombudsman because you sold my mother false hope. People are waiting to be paid back yet that department doesn't care what happens to us who are left behind to bury our loved one. It isn't far what you guys are doing to us. Received an email saying my ticket is resolved yet no feedback or money was received. What kind of company is this that plays with people's lives like this. Imagine you're failing to pay Natural death on time what about unnatural that takes 7-14 days clearly that one will take the whole year with the incompetence your displaying. Stop playing with people's lives and do your job.

Easypay does not care for people, they say their claim takes 48 hours, we have submitted all documents on the 17th today is the 23rd no payment yet. And funeral is Thursday. What are we suppose to do.when you call them they said they have escalated
