The Urology Hospital delivers truly top class service with staff who are extremely helpful and caring. A special thank you to Desiree January for her flawless service and for keeping me updated from start to finish, she made the entire process so much easier. I would also like to take a moment to remember and thank the late Shawn de Bruyn, who sadly passed away shortly after my care. His kindness and dedication will not be forgotten. Finally, my deepest gratitude goes to Dr. J.E. Coetzee Lance and his professional team. His care was absolutely world class, and he truly lives up to his outstanding reputation. You will not find better. I highly recommend the Urology Hospital to anyone in need of expert, compassionate care.

I am satisfied with the hospital services.Dr Kirstein is one of the best Urologist doctors.He is a caring doctor and look after his patients. Thank you very much for the treatments and well experience staff .We most appreciated it.Only one thing we want to mention, your Authorisation Team needs to update the medical team daily if a patient are staying longer in the hospital.The casemanager needs to check regular The authorisation team needs to phone and not email the authorisation team as they are extremely busy and do not have time.Then the accounts are send to the claims dept of Sizwe of only one day authorisation but the the patient was for 2.5 days 10May to 12May 2024 and the cannot understand why the claims are not paid in full.Pls ask your team to phone authorisation team on 0860 100 871 and following the instructions We will all be happy customers Thank you Magdel

I went for an operation in the hospital which was TURP,the doctor took me twice to theater because the first encounter was not successful,second time he performed TURP,I’m told he opened my blooder too wide hence I’ve been licking urine ever since,I went back for check up and he suggested a physician which I attended with no improvement,I just came back from theater at midstream hospital and I’m told the blooder was open too much by this Dr,I’ve done bulking yesterday and I’m still leaking,The Dr in Pretoria urology hospital didn’t assist instead he made my situation worse and miserable,he only referred me to a physio than helping me,It doesn’t make sense to me as I was not informed by the continued leaks,I paid so much for this operation and it was not helpful .

Had good care while in the hospital, but unfortunately after I asked for time to try and sort out a co-payment that was supposed to be covered by the medical aid, they handed the account over. And never informed me. As always, compassion only lasts until you are discharged.

Good morning My name is Jacqueline Phetlhe For the last past years I have been hearing different diagnosis from urologist.When is the end of this .What is medical and dental society intervene in this matter My daughter who is now 22 years old have been leaking urine for past 5years and been attended by urologist with different diagnosis. 1Dr. From mulberton hospital the Urologist did cystoscope and said there isl nothing wrong she must do pelvic floor exercises and gave her medicine which did not work 2Dr liebenberg from Garden city who did sonar from his room and said she has stricher and took her to cystoscope and fix which did not help then gave her medication for months that did not work 3Dr Van. Wjik from Urology hospital took her for cystoscope said bladder muscle damage can only be treated by putting leads and machine for 2weeks then do implant and batrey and change after 7years that also did not work DrVan wjik did not inform us this is for trial.and it was The last time we saw the Doctor it was post cystoscope.We did not see Dr post leads insertion to explain how did operation went and what to expect therafter.My daughter had sutures on buttock which were left open for 2weeks which were not absorbable .We have not heard or seen doctor post operation till now 4The Rep Eyvet from Metronicd company told us she would get authorisation which she did post operation and showed us how it works and will be out in 2weeks.When the device that cost R48 000 from prosthesis benefit which is depleted, the is not working I ask her why they did not tell us this is for trial The lady just said she is apologizing meaning she acknowledges that they wrong and apologizing does eas our pain. Was this done because of race as Batho Pele says very well we have right to be informed which we were denied The effect and damage that this caused to my daughter; depression which triggered bipolar suicidal and worse now she had good years no depresion and bipolar until leak. If only we had 2Drs with the same diagnosis we were going to prepare for accepting the condition. When is the end become end ,we have been given different diagnosis ,Dental and Medical association must help.
