Dont trust this company.....
If I could give a 0 I would. Stay clear of this Company. November 2024 I ordered a R15 000 vanity Cabinet with a accessory unit which I asked him to build separately. In December I made full payment. I did not pay small money for the cabinet. He said he would have it delivered by end February as it was a big cabinet. February came and went so did March, April, May and hundreds of excuses later, in May whilst I was away for 6 weeks he delivered my domestic just signed and took it. Upon my return to south africa I opened up my packages to find the following.

I ordered a vanity set from The Vanity Studio (also known as Mirror & Co.), and my experience was nothing short of frustrating. From the start, I was given false promises and misleading information about delivery times. Communication was poor, and I had to constantly follow up with them to get any updates. After weeks of delays and empty assurances, I eventually requested a refund. I was told it would take 5–10 days, but even that turned into a drawn-out, stressful process. Only after repeatedly messaging them and finally threatening to report the business and expose what was happening did they issue the refund. This experience was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. I would not recommend this company to anyone — be very careful before placing an order.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY
It’s just a pity that I did not read these reviews before purchasing from The Vanity Studio so if you’re lucky enough to be reading this before making a purchase DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!! I made a purchase almost 2 months ago and have still not received it after being told it would take 15-20 days. After numerous follow ups and constantly being told that it will be dispatched the next day, I still have not received anything. Eventually I was told that ETA is this week Thursday, but when I asked for a tracking number, the courier has not even been booked!! So I’m not sure where he sucked that ETA out from but it’s just been one lie after another. It seems like this is a common problem as I’ve received so many DM’s about people having the same issue after posting a status to find out if anyone has actually had luck with this company. Please rather use a reliable and reputable company because this one just isn’t it

Do not touch this company. Read all the negative reviews below saying the same thing. Tevin is a ***** and a ****. He has got honey dripping out of his mouth, and he will spin you one lie after another after another after another. He insists on upfront payment and promises a quick turn around. But that's where the urgency ends because he will never deliver when he says he will, he will never contact you, he will never take your calls. The only way you can speak to him is by calling from numbers he does not know. This guy is a total **** artist. Don't get taken in by his "Jesus Heart emoji" profile on Whatsapp. This is intentionally put there so he hopes you think he has integrity. Tevin has zero Christian values. He does not care about the customer, commitments he has made or any sort of professionalism. He is the bottom of the barrel in South Africa. I ordered and paid on April 2nd 2024, for my daughter's birthday on April 12th. He had zero intention of ever getting the gift to us on time. He sent a battered base over a month later with nothing else. Promised to get it collected and send the correct items. I received nothing else until October 11th. He waited 5 MONTHS further to send anything else. I was on his tail all the time, telling him how distressed my daughter was not to have gotten her birthday present. Whatsapping, calling, constantly asking where is the vanity. He ghosted me. **** over and over about having sent it but it mysteriously never arrived. He never collected the base which sat in our living room for 5 months like a piece of junk. On October 11th he sends a broken piece of *******. He will spin you stories even of driving to Joburg, rain delaying the journey, trucks breaking down not once but three times, leaving his family for 15 days to do this nightmare trip where he has to go and see customers who paid BEFORE me...Wow how many customers has he let down who are jotted all over the country. He will spin you every sob story in the book. Tevin is a **** and doesn't care about LYING. Thinking he was going to show up at our house on this arduous journey he'd bravely taken....no it was the courier who always services our area because Tevin hadn't gone anywhere. He was in Durban at his comfortable house paid for by all the customers he's ****** money from and failed to deliver a service to in return. There is no protection for the consumer in SA, but in a civilised country, Tevin would have been shut down. Please notice how all the 5 star reviews appear to be written by his friends and family. And if not I think he created profiles to make them. Do not believe one word Tevin says to you. I would be ashamed to know this person. Also Takealot now sells Vanities so hopefully it puts Tevin out of business.

Unreliable and pathetic service.
Had the worst experience with this company. They used to be called vanity studio but now go as mirror and co. I placed an order on the 6th of May and was told that my order would be delivered in 20-25 working days. Fast forward to the week of the 15th of June I was told it would be delivered. When I enquired about delivery I was told they had had a breakdown with one of their machines so their schedule was put off. I then asked to have my delivery done after the 1st of July as I would not be around. On the 4th of July I was told that my order would be delivered in a day or two as it was ready to be dispatched that next day. 9th of July still no tracking number or order was received. 15th of July still no tracking number or delivery. Tevin kept making excuses about delays after saying my order was ready to be dispatched. He promised to have my order delivered by the 16th of July when I requested a refund. 16th of July when I enquired he made more excuses and asked me to wait until the next Monday (22 July) I still did not receive any tracking info until then. On the 23rd of July I had to request a refund form me sent to be and an immediate refund be done as he had still not delivered my item. Tevin is completely unreliable and I would not suggest ordering from him as it seems he has done the same thing to many people. He is constantly posting sales on their account but cannot even deliver on their existing orders.

I have placed an order on the 31 May and was told ETA is 20 working days. A day before I knew it was supposed to be despatched I messaged Tevin and he told me it will be despatched the next day which was the 28th June. From that day all I hear is lies. Weeks ago he sent me a waybill that all it says is scanning. When I called him out on his lies he then told me he's been having problems with his machine. Every week after that I've been hearing lies. I eventually called the courier company to check on the two waybills that he has given me and they told me the parcels have not yet been given to them. Last week I asked him for a refund because I am tired of the lies. He promised me it will be with me the next day. 26th July I recieve a parcel and it is only the draws!!! And not the glass tops and mirrors. He says because it is glass it cannot be shipped with the drawers. Absolute lies. It is now 2 months and all I hear is lies.
