Absolutely disgraceful service. Apparently it is not their company policy to compensate customers for loss due to their negligence/wilful damage to your property. I dropped off a new unworn pair of leather shoes and requested them to add 2 or 3 centimetres of leather to the end of the strap. I spoke to the staff member responsible in person and showed him what I wanted. When I returned they had cut the leather strap a few centimetres above the base of the shoe, where it would be most obvious, and added a big patch of ugly mismatched leather with poor lumpy stitching and blobs of glue. When I complained they removed the poor workmanship and stitched the strap back together. The shoe is still unwearable. It is obvious that the strap has been cut. The new join is still obvious and ugly. After a month or so of being given the run around between staff and owner I am told that it is company policy that they will not do anything about it.

I cannot believe that they are still in business??? I take a pair of trousers and jacket for their zips to be replaced or repaired, The items are taken to the back and I am made to wait (which I thought was fine, even though it was quite a wait) items come back out and then given a quote (clearly stated on the quote for the amount to either replace or repair) I give the go-ahead! When I collect...horrified that my items were just shoved into a cupboard, paid the full price, thank goodness I checked, nothing was done to my jacket and still faulty zip on my pants, took items back demanding an explanation as to why nothing was done yet I was charged??? I was then promptly told that the job cannot be done????????? Firstly, Why when it was accessed I was told that the repair can be done??? Secondly, Why did they not contact me to tell me this? my contact details are on the slip?? Thirdly, Why did they charge me for the repairs in the first place??? Thank goodness they are not the only ones around, I found one in Hillcrest, not too far from them in Kloof! Such bad service!!! By being refunded???? They have missed the point and don't seem to give a damn

I have given 7 pairs of shoes and two watches (replace bands) for repairs. The first 2 pairs was done perfect. The service was excellent. Thereafter I had given the rest for repairs and to date there was only excuses and no solution. Excuses such as Covid, Storm and family time. these items were given well before the storm and the 5th wave of Covid. Trish the director takes on more than she can handle. she got a day job and got incompetent staff to run a viable business. She not transparent. full of excuses. She never answers her call, love sending WhatsApp messages. Her excuse is that she is in heavy traffic. I had told her it is easier to take a call than to text when driving in heavy traffic. She makes appointments and don,t keep to them. When she needed the business she used to deal with you ant any time, but when she cannot deliver, she says we are invading in her family time and she is a single mother. She needs to prioritize running the business or stick to her day job or stay at home and look after her children. You can,t have both. Her staff Fatima is another incompetent person. Never know whats happening. When you go to the shop you have to call Trish, and 9 out of 10 times Fatima has no air time so the customer need to use their own cell phone. I will never recomment any one to use them.
