Worst, worst Service ever. Too many stories that don’t make any sense. Too many delays. We applied for Bond in March. Now that the matter is supposed to be registered there are glitches, the Lawyer dealing with our matter does not answer her phone, we have to beg for an update or some sort of communication. This is so frustrating and we are so unhappy. The registering attorneys are waiting on them to lodge the matter at the deeds office, nothing is happening.

In June 2019 we decided to buy a property in gaudrand and we were assisted by Tshepo Mabasa from property bees. we signed offer of purchase with the agent and weeks later we went to sign with the lawyers for transfer of ownership and paid both the registration attorneys(Nel) and the seller attorneys(TLT) . In September 2019 when we called both lawyers to ask them for update Shona from TLT attorneys wrote " The seller is an investor and he works with the council a lot therefor he is trying to assist with the meter query. As far as I can understand they need meters installed." some days were worse Shona would not even bother to take my calls nor return them. In November we called the seller and he told us us they need to pay the 99k for the rates. We kept on calling asking why are they not paying the rates and how long will it take to register the answer we got from Shona TLT attorney was " it will not take too much longer, seller is going to council to see if he can reduce them slightly as they are extremely high but we need to register this matter latest mid December, " we were delayed and not getting anywhere with these useless lawyers. They were just giving us problems no solution. Early December we then decided to cancel as there was no way forward to when will the seller pay the rates and we were always being asked about early occupation which was not an ideal solution to our problem and very tricky as we were told about it the day we signed. We met with the lawyer Mokgobi from Mokgobi attorney to help us with the cancelation these guy told us that he was going to draft a letter of cancelation and send it to the seller as the delay was from their side. I don't know if the letter was sent or not however every time we called the seller to ask them about the letter of cancelation they said they never received it. We then called them and ask them about how far is the process of cancelation. We kept calling and sending messages with no feedback Mokgobi kept on saying he will call us or get someone from his office to call us until today no call and no messages from him. He reads our messages and never responded. Last time when I contacted Shona from TLT attorneys she told me that the file is closed and the cancelation went through however there were conditions on the cancelation we paid more than 40 000 for both lawyers and we wanted our money back and we also wanted the money we spent on getting a lawyer to cancel as the delay did not come from our side. None of these conditions were met instead Shona told me that she spoke to me and I have paid the cancelation penalty she has a prove of payment and the matter is closed. When I told her that I know nothing about what she talking about she responded "I am also not sure that I am talking to the right person you could be anyone". To cut the long story short the service we got from all the parties was bad. From the day we sign until today we never heard from Tshepo Mabasa. We had to keep on calling both lawyers to get the progress of the registration ontop of that we lost alot of money as if we were the ones who delayed the process. FNB never called us to as their client to update us the last time we spoke to someone from FNB it was when they wanted me to switch to their bank. Mokgobi attorneys never bothered to even call us or show us that they will help us after paying money to help us with the cancelation

I’ll like to Report TLT Attorneys for fraud. On the 25th of May 2020 I paid TLT Attorneys R18353 for transfers of a home I was buying . Before the house was registered I received a letter form the Management company of the Estate (Sail Properties) claiming I owe them R2800 for levies. I then told them I was not the owner as the house was not in my name yet . The Attorneys were notified of this . And they confirmed the house is not lodged see attached. I am now told I need to pay The R2800 for September levies even though the house wasn’t registered in my name a statement I was sent on 19 October See attached . The attorney who was handling my case told the Management company that the matter was lodged not register on email (see attached). The owner is now shouting at me for addressing this matter . The date of the registration on the letter they sent says the matter was registered on 26 November, so If so why am I paying levies for September . I would like to lodge this complaint as the house was never in my name . They should pay the September levies not me
