This is my second concern about this antivirus software. I should have given then a one star previously. I still can not cancel my subscription., so I reported it to my bank. I blocked my card and uninstalled the apps from my phone and computer. According to posts on Redit, it is a ****. TotalAV is registered as three different companies and three different sites. They are deducting huge amounts of money, from clients, but on Google they are the #1 av software. Please be careful.

Im using this anti virus company since last year, but my premium increases without notification every month. Then my bank (Nedbank) adds an additional R10 for the "exchange rate". Strange tho, my Netflix subscription is also from outside SA, but the payments remain the same every month. No add-ons for the exchange rate. I tried to cancel my TotalAV subscription today, but you need a degree to do it on the website. It is absolutely crazy! I requested support from the support team, but they refuse and continue to refer me to the website. Also be careful the auto renewal subscription for the second year is almost three times more. Very disappointing.

I found a deduction taken from my credit card today for R 3041 from TotalAV via Paypal account. I never agreed or signed up for their antivirus software - I have always used AVG free. When trying to connect via their link it just looks like a Total **** !! I have alerted my bank and will try and have this reversed

In Jan 2022 I purchased TotalAV Antivirus for my PC for R239 for A year license. In Jan 2023 I had R2108.93 deducted from my account. I contacted TotalAV and was told its auto renewal. I never agreed to an auto renewal and demanded my month back they then tried to offer me a discount of 60% and then later a larger discount of 80% I refused and informed them I would no longer use TotalAv software due to this and demanded a full refund. They agreed in writing and I received a refund of R1991.97 this is R116.96 short of the total amount. I have reported them to my bank for fraud and hope to recover the remaining balance.

In Jan 2022 I purchased TotalAV Antivirus for my PC for R239 for A year license. In Jan 2023 I had R2108.93 deducted from my account. I contacted TotalAV and was told its auto renewal. I never agreed to an auto renewal and demanded my month back they then tried to offer me a discount of 60% and then later a larger discount of 80% I refused and informed them I would no longer use TotalAv software due to this and demanded a full refund. They agreed in writing and I received a refund of R1991.97 this is R116.96 short of the total amount. I have reported them to my bank for fraud and hope to recover the remaining balance.

I would like to stop my paid subscription at TotalAV and have sent twelve emails since October to request that. They reply and try to convince me to stay on and block me from ways on the app and the website so that I’m unable to stop my subscription. They continue to withdraw my payment every month after they had repeatedly received all the necessary information to stop. They are currently withdrawing those amounts without my permission from me as I no longer want them to do that. Unfortunately there is no way to stop that from my side. Their customer care is non-existing- they just try to keep me as a client against my will.

I have an anti-virus programme, TotalAV, on my pc. Last week a rather large amount was deducted from my bank account for an add-on of which I was totally unaware. This was a renewal for mentioned add-on. I immediately emailed TotalAV to complain and asked for an immediate cancellation of this account and I refund of the total amount. For days on end there was an exchange of emails between the company and me. Every time I received generic responses from different "people", without them addressing my problem. I finally contacted FNB who swiftly and successfully solved my problem. I read several reviews on TotalAV where others complained of exactly the same problem I had. I will not recommend this anti-virus app to anyone.
