I recently purchased a Toyota Starlet from Toyota East Rand, but unfortunately, it didn't quite meet my expectations. The drive, size, and ground clearance were not what I was looking for. Having previously owned a Toyota Corolla Cross, which ticked all the right boxes, I knew I had to find something that better suited my needs. I reached out to Martin, my regular sales executive at Toyota, and expressed my dissatisfaction with the Starlet. He immediately put my mind at ease, assuring me that he would find a more suitable vehicle for me. Although they didn't have anything available on the floor at the time, Martin worked tirelessly to find the perfect car for me. Within three weeks, he located a car that met my requirements, which was conveniently situated in Cape Town at Reeds N1 Isuzu. What happened next was truly remarkable. Martin went above and beyond to make this deal happen. He approached Wynton, the Dealer Principal of Toyota East Rand, and explained my situation. Wynton, without hesitation, made the call to have the car transported from Cape Town to Benoni, covering the cost himself!!!!! When it came time to discuss the numbers, Wynton offered me a great trade-in deal on my Starlet, making it possible for me to drive away in my new car. The entire process was seamless. Within four days, the car was transported from Cape Town, valeted, and roadworthy tested. I was able to take delivery of my new vehicle with ease. I am truly grateful for the exceptional service I received from Martin and Wynton at Toyota East Rand. They not only listened to my needs but went out of their way to make this deal happen. I highly recommend Toyota East Rand to anyone in the market for a new car. Their dedication to customer satisfaction is truly unmatched.

I am writing to formally address the issues I have encountered with East Rand Toyota regarding my recent vehicle purchase. On April 4, 2024, I visited East Rand Toyota to purchase a vehicle. As there were no suitable options on the floor, I was assisted by Mr. Mika Matola, a sales representative, who informed me of a Ford Ranger undergoing service. Mr. Matola offered to send pictures and advised that I could return in two to three days when the vehicle was back from service for a viewing. Upon collecting the vehicle, I was told by Mika Matola that I would need to return in a few days to have the service book signed as the serviced being done already and the service kilometers reset. However, it was never communicated that I would bear the cost of servicing the vehicle just two months into ownership. Furthermore, there was no mention that I should return to East Rand Toyota if I experienced any issues with the vehicle. Instead, I was directed to Motorite (Warranty plan) and addressed my queries with them and motorite referred me to Eastval Motors Secunda for inspection and repairs, for which I incurred additional expenses. After a second visit to Eastval Motors, I was advised to stop using the vehicle as the issues had worsened, potentially causing severe damage. I then refrained from using the vehicle for nearly two weeks while trying unsuccessfully to reach both Mr. Colin Kruger and Mr. Mika Matola to discuss the matter, as my calls were no longer being answered. At that point, I decided to return the vehicle to East Rand Toyota, as I no longer wished to proceed with the purchase .I delivered the vehicle on a Saturday, although I understand Mr. Colin Kruger does not work weekends. Allegations that I threw the keys on his desk are entirely untrue; I have never met Mr. Colin Kruger nor visited his office, and I believe this narrative is an attempt to tarnish my character. Throughout our initial conversations, I was never informed that East Rand Toyota would repair the vehicle directly. Instead, I was continually referred to external dealerships. Claims that I am making excuses to avoid payments are entirely unfounded and damaging to my reputation. I have one fully paid vehicles financed by the same bank and Home loan that is almost finish without a single missed payment, which reflects my commitment to honoring my financial responsibilities. This current situation has left me feeling mistreated and discriminated against. I have repeatedly expressed my dissatisfaction with the vehicle to Mr. Matola within two to three months of the purchase, and I am unwilling to continue financing it for the next seven years. Therefore, my preferred resolution is to be transferred to another dealership where I can select a vehicle of equivalent value and continue my payments without further complications. I am no longer willing to engage with East Rand Toyota due to the ongoing issues and lack of support. The proof of payment made in Eastval Motors in Secunda and the rejection payment letter from Motorite is attached. Additionally, the overall customer service provided has been unsatisfactory. on the 10/07/2024 I called my salesman Mika Makola and informed him of this problem, he took no actions in resolving the issue whatsoever. Then again on the 18/07/2024 I gave him another call, that is when I only got the numbers for the warranty service. After making numerous calls back and forth that is when I also discovered that I nor the vehicle was registered with the warranty company but later I was "registered" . That is when the salesman would ignore my calls. That is when I decided to bring the vehicle back, feeling hopeless and helpless. These issues have caused significant inconvenience and frustration. I am requesting that the dealership takes back the vehicle as it has given me numerous issues with in 3 months of me having it, The salesman suggested on option of trading the vehicle with another one. As I have decided to step back and try to think of what other options do I have from other dealerships, I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to a satisfactory resolution. Called for a car in Thursday advertised on Autotrader. Was told its available. I came from Rustenburg only to find out it has been "sold", saleman Martin then called me the next day AGAIN to say its available, i asked how is that possible, he told me his standing by the car and its available. AGAIN i ask him for the Extras of the car and he said he'll call me back, he never did. Monday Morning he calls me AGAIN saying its available, AGAIN i ask him for the extras, he doesn't call me back? Tuesday i phone the Dealer principal "Johan" to find out whats going on and he told me he will investigate and call me back. He called me back and told me it was sold "over the Weekend". So i ask him how was it sold over the weekend if the Salesman Martin phoned me on monday to tell me the car is available? He then became rube and arrogant and told me it was sold and kept repeating "ok bye" as i asked him this. Nothing but arrogance and lies from this Company!

Just wanted to share the wonderful experience I had at this branch. The gentleman who was supposed to attend to my vehicle was not available on the day I took my vehicle in to get my head light replaced however his team members were amazing. From the foreman, filtered down to the team he leads, I experience great service. Well done team, you have earned yourselves an additional customer as I will always come to you for my vehicle needs.

Ek het aan soek gedoen om my kar in te ruil by hulle en ons het 'n ooreenkoms gehaat dat hulle Dinsdag die 21/05/2019 die kar sal kom af lewer by my en so het dit nooit gebeur nie elke dag het hulle 'n storie gehaat toe op die einde se hulle ek kan nie meer nie kar kry nie na dat ek 'n offer op my kar gehaat het en gesê het ek het hom klaar verkoop aan toyota, die persoon wie se kar wat ek sou gekoop het by toyota het 'n nuwe kar gekoop by hulle maar nooit 'n deposito gegee nie maar hulle gee hom 'sy ou kar trug en se vir my dit is nou maar so. ek het 'n aan bod gekry vir R140 000 privaat nadat ek toyota se aanbod aanvaar het van'n kar wat goedkoper is ek sou 'n xuv 500 w6 by hulle gekry het
