Terrible customer service. They dont respond to emails. Lack of urgency despite explaining the situation and why the replacement certificate is needed. On call staff have attitudes rather than concede that their lack of professionalism is the cause for the issues. Avoid. Please just avoid dealing with this people.

They have poor communication skills, from the ETQA specialists, to the ETQA Manager and even the TETA regional head. Our organisation has been waiting three months for our extension letter from TETA. We tried on many occasions to get it by calling them, emailing them, meeting with them but to no avail. Nobody at the seta seems to care that they are costing training providers money loss with their communication issues and ethical issues. We have spoken to Mandla Ngobeses, Sandy Ndlovu, Shantal Maharaj, Happy Mafundi and Qinisile Khanyile and none of them have assisted us to date. Its been 3 months of constant communication.

Terrible service from TETA. Cannot apply in advance to renew accreditation, yet if I renew within timeframe it expires becuase TETA is slow and refuses to reply to any communication. Application was done in July, still waiting without a single response from multiple emails sent.

One of the worst service I have ever received. Still waiting for my trade certificate since April 2020. After 2 years for trying several phone calls and emails everyone in TETA gives a ****. I've been waiting for an email from them just to proof I'm qualified for licence and after 2 weeks they tell me that they will send an email and then nothing. THIS IS JUST PATHETIC!!!!! TETA YOU ARE THE WORST!!!

At around the end of March 2019 there was a post in City vision newspaper stating that Codetta taxi association is looking for "unemployed youth" to join their Learnership programme for National certificate in Professional driving .their requirements were have Matric certificate and be unemployed duration of the course is 12 months, stipend 2000 00 every for 12months. drop your cv at Kuwait taxi Rank Site C Khayelitsha. The successful candidates started at 3June 2019, we started with the programme did our learners licence and other Modules, meanwhile we hard extremely hiccups that resulted us to to write several emails to TETA complaining about the school. anyways we continued attending classes then there was COVID19 Pandemic lockdown. We got the stipend during lockdown, beginning of July we got calls to go for driver's training. Codetta we were given letters stating that "we are not going to get any stipend as the contract expired on 03 June 2019 TETA only extended the contract for submissions. So we did few driving lessons attending school as well using money out of our pockets, we were only in the driving school for 5lesson for Code14 .and we were told they going to call us again .August,Sep,mid October we were called to go book for passing dates in the traffic department ,we all booked and got dates for 12th 13th n 16th November 2020. After we got the dates we were told by Lizzi Masumpa(director) that Codetta is only going to pay for 2lessons per student and one shall pay for their extra lessons. That was the biggest shock and disturbing news we had..’how are we supposed to pay for our lessons while we are unemployed and not getting any stipend? ‘We then contacted Mr Desmond Baartman (TETA representative that visited our school) we first asked him to verify the letter that we got from Codetta and told him about the issue in hand, he gave us the landline number to contact The project manager Naledi to verify the letter and the other questions we have regarding the driving lessons. We then called asked our relatives to call also, sent emails to TETA but no response till now. The worse part they are asking us to sign timesheets that we attended driving lessons for more than two months and we went to Golden Arrow Bus Services (GAPS) of which we never did! We dedicated plus minus 12months on this Learnership to go out with empty hands. Some of us couldn't go to pass because they do not know how to drive and didn’t have money for extra lessons as we were told by Codetta. Is there anyone or someone who had the similar issue? PLEASE ADVISE AS WE CURRENTLY DON’T HAVE JOBS, NO LICENSE AND PER AGREEMENT.
