Had a bad experience from Travelex Menlyn Mall. The lady there refused to accept my one month old TV licence statement as proof of residence despite listing it in the shop as one of the valid proof of residence document. Her overall attitude was not pleasant!

I would like to raise a concern regarding the unhelpful and rude behavior of your employees during my daughter’s recent interaction. They made her feel as though they were doing her a favor rather than simply performing their duties. Their attitude came across as irritable and dismissive, which is completely unacceptable. I would appreciate a courtesy call from a manager who is willing to address this behavior and ensure that such conduct is not repeated.

Terrible service, rudeness, lack of communication, condescension, unhelpfulness. All this at Eastgate branch. Walked in for first visit to find yawning bored white lady who really didn't want to be there. Told me I need ID and proof of residence but did not specify it needs to be FICA. I came back to face someone new who nudged me to a different teller as he was 'busy'. Then the new teller was not pleasant and told me that I was wrong and defamed my character by hinting that I am a ****. I hope they all get what they deserve.

I bought foreign currency for my son last year when he was travelling to Italy from a Foreign exchange branch in Ballito. My son went on his trip, while in Italy he lost his card that the money was loaded onto. Upon his return he called and got the card cancelled while it still had money on it. We've the most appalling experience trying to get the money back. We've visited the Ballito Branch countless times from Richard's Bay and we can't be assisted. We've been made to call a call centre where we get no help, last Saturday we told we would get an sms/email saying the matter has been resolved and money would be transferred into my son's account which hasn't happened. My son is Manqoba Nxele - 068 530 8516. Father Karabo Nxele - 078 634 6823

****!!!! Exchanged ZAR to USD at Travelex OR THAMBO. When I arrived at my final destination and tried to exchange said USD to Baht, I was told the USD were invalid as the travelex has sold me dollars that had writing on them. This place is a ****!!!!! Do your business elsewhere!!!

I went to Travelex in Bayside to exchange some USD , Staff extremely unhelpful and short off , they send you up and down and are really pathetic at public relations and charge an astronomical amounts for the poor service . First and last time I will use them .
