This notice serves as a public warning regarding Triple V Motors and its director, Pieter, in connection with a serious and unresolved issue involving my late father. In 27 February 2024, my father paid R150,000 to Triple V Motors for the purchase of a Renault Duster. Despite full payment, the dealership unilaterally cancelled the transaction and failed to deliver the vehicle with logbook. To date: Only R30,000 was refunded in 25 May 2024. The remaining R120,000 has not been refunded, despite multiple follow-ups. My father sadly passed away in November 2024 from cancer, and we are now managing this matter as part of his deceased estate. MIOSA has referred this case to the National Consumer Commission and is currently under investigation. Triple V Motors has continued to operate while knowingly withholding funds owed to a deceased customer’s estate—despite regulatory referrals. This raises serious concerns about their ethics and legal compliance. If you are considering doing business with Triple V Motors or Pieter, please be aware of this ongoing issue and proceed with extreme caution. Consumers deserve transparency, accountability, and basic fairness—values not upheld in this case. We encourage anyone with similar experiences to report them to MIOSA, the National Consumer Commission, or seek legal assistance.

1 star is too high for this company. Bunch of scamming arrogant people. Absolutely disgraceful service from disgraceful people. to make the sale they are helpful, aftersales is useless. I bought a car last week, car gave problems on Monday, called them and i have been given the main mechanic number. went there Wednesday, have been without a car till yesterday after i had to feel like convicting them to assist me with the problem. I purchased a warranty on the vehicle, not that it's any use, they sent a claim on this warranty for a solenoid which is apparently an "electrical, issue". called the bank and tried to cancel the deal as I feel I had the car for 7 days which 2 of those days were not able to drive due to this issue. in contact with the mechanic so the one owner of the brother's response on the mechanics phone with an attitude that I will never forget. absolutely the worst arrogant thing. challenges me out of his own will and state "if you want to bring in the ombudsman you are welcome, we have backing" after some vibes and attitudes i have the car back. I asked for my staff card to be sent to me as i asked to deliver it and it never happened. now i have not been paid for the entire time the car was with them due to not having this card. they simply do not care. i suggest you don't buy a car here, scroll past on Autotrader. bunch of misfits trying to make something of themselves by being arrogant and skelm! upon collection of the car yesterday I as a client had to make a plan, with my own people to collect it because they said its month end and they are only 2 mechanics working, well those sounds like your problem, not mine! will this arrogant man tell my people they only take cash... hahah i wonder why wink wink... insisted my people go withdraw the cash for the repair which i feel should have been covered by them in the first place, after this when they got the money the one guy called Pieter advised he wants the notes to be turned all in a certain position. i will be sure to call my warranty Monday I'm pretty sure they will claim from that and also make you pay I will never in my entire life do business with these people. so, scroll past. the one owner Pieter does not have any idea how to treat clients. "Take me to the ombudsman, let's take on each other if you would like to" won't be long before you close your doors with that attitude and your horrible customer service. The best is that you purchase a car and a week later they want to claim from the warranty, and they can't tell me oh it's a sudden issue. an issue like what i had doesn't just appear suddenly.

They are not worth even 1 star - 2022-05-13 I am not very happy at the moment. I purchased a car 4 weeks ago, after a few days we felt that the cooling system do not work properly, my husband took the car in for them to check. The then had a bit of a word fight with the owner because he says my husband is saying that they were lying when they told me the car was serviced by them. The oil in the car is thick and sticky and there were no anti-freeze en the water... I rest my case. And after another week we realized its leaking engine water somewhere. We took the car back last week Thursday and after 2 days and having to contact the mechanic, I was told it seems like its leaking into the engine and they have to open the engine. My car is there now for 7 working days with no communication from their side (I had to contact the mechanic the whole time for updates) and I don't have any other transport. Yesterday I asked for a loan car and was told he will ask the owner. Needless to say, he did not come back to me and conveniently his phone is off now. I THINK THIS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. 2022-06-15 My car was with them for exactly 24 working days (Thats more than a month). 2 days after I received it back, the same problem started and then my head gasket, which they replaced, blew again within not even a week. According to Hyundai and other qualified mechanics, they installed the incorrect head gasket and also the head gasket should be a thicker one. This they did not do!!!

The most ahitty car dealership , from the owner to the mechanics. If you want a car that works , and works well enough even with the minor faults on it . DO NOT HEAD TO THIS DEALERSHIP OR RATHER SCAM HOUSE . The service is totally **** , and I mean wait for a good 7 hours to repair a window mechanisms. Which by the way the replace with another broken mechanism. The amount of disrespect shown from the owner and his lackies is so faul you could damn near taste it . DO NOT !! I REPEAT DO NOT BUY A CAR AT ANY CAR DEALERSHIP WITH THE NAME "TRIPLE V MOTORS" IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE IN ZAMBEZI . JUST THAT NAME SHOULD SPARK A SIGNAL OF A SCAM WAITHING TO HAPPEN

My Name is Nick Sibanda from Pretoria. I write this letter with a heavy heart due to experiences of heartless people that I’ve came across who have nothing but a focus of milking innocent people their last pennies that they have worked very hard for. Just a brief story about my painful journey which led me to losing a +R100k from a car dealer. I am under debt review due to financial difficulties and I was hijacked on the 28th of December 2020 on gunpoint. I had two insurances (one for car replacement should I lose the car on an accident or through a hijacking and a second one which is a comprehensive insurance) to ensure that I am covered should I experience anything with my financed vehicle. Losing my car caused me lots of trauma as the insurance rejected my claim after they did their investigation. I fought and fought against the insurance and eventually my claim got approved. The motor replacement insurance that I had only focused on customer under debts review and they were only able to assist with an amount of R100k which I was covered for, for me to get wheels to be mobile again. I looked around for a vehicle which met my interest with an aim of making an arrangement with the dealer should the vehicle be more than the R100k from the insurance. I visited Boksburg to search for cars and eventually found a dealer back in Pretoria to which the sale’s person found his way into charming me to buying one of their vehicles. The dealer’s name I visited in Pretoria is called Triple V Motors, Address: 42 Zambesi Dr, Annlin, Pretoria, 0182 where I met a sales manager by name Deric who really made sure that I looked no further but to buy a vehicle from them. He test-drove the car himself and myself sited on the driver’s seat and a friend of mine sitting at the back. He shut off the radio as he confirmed that is works(I later knew why he shut off the radio as the car would keep making warning sounds of being unhappy about something. This I picked up only after collecting the car) and drove around the block for me to see that the car drives well. I noticed an engine light on the car and I told him that I wouldn’t buy a car like that and he confirmed that they will have the car fully serviced and also get rid of the engine light. We tested two vehicles which were both C200 Mercedes Benz ( a diesel car and also a petrol one) and advised us into buying a diesel one which they were going to do a full service on. I spoke to Deric about my past negative experiences with other dealers when I was buying from them and asked him to ensure that I don’t experience the same thing with them and he gave me his word and that the warranty will be there to assist as well. I explain to them that my insurance would only afford R100k on the car and asked them if they would allow me to save up the balance as the car was R139K and with a warranty of R10k on-top to total R149k. They introduced me to a rent to buy for the balance of R49k to which I didn’t hesitate to accept. It took days for the insurance to release funds and during that time the dealer confirmed that they were busy getting the car ready for me. I was called to sign the contract before taking the car so that they can secure the vehicle for me. On the 23rd of March 2021 the insurance paid the dealer and on the 24th of March 2021 in the afternoon I had to collect the vehicle. It was the first time that I was driving their vehicle on collection (as Deric was the one on the first day to test drive it for me) as I later picked-up some warning signs which I reported to them immediately after leaving their dealership which was less than 9miters . A day or two before collection the warranty company called me to take my information and gave me a brief description of how they work and even disclosed that the warranty was of a value of about R8100 and not R10k. I questioned the dealer and they said yes that’s true and confirmed that the balance they had to use it to get the car ready for me!!! This was not communicated to me when I agreed to buying their car!!! On collection I was not happy with few things (both rear and front bumper not being aligned, boot not being aligned) which I did indicate to the dealer when I first saw the car to which I was promised that they would sort-out but on collection then decided to only align the boot and told me that the bumpers get mis-aligned as the car gets old!!! The passenger headrest was damaged and I showed this to them and they added glue to it and requested that I come back on a Monday to have it fixed. As I left the dealership getting to the road I had the radio on to which the car made a warning noise lowering the radio to alert me of what was happening with the car. I took a picture immediately and sent to the dealership (Deric) to advise and the he called me back to say I must not worry about the signs and that the car was fully serviced and that the warning signs would be dealt with either on Sunday if I’m free or on a Monday the 29th March 2021 to which I agreed. The first sign said top up coolant and the second one showed a picture of the car with something red on top of the bonnet and I asked the Deric via phone to find out if it could be a bonnet that was not properly closed or what and asked them to tell me where to open the bonnet to try and close it again. Deric said I would have to look for myself on the car on how to open the bonnet in order to close it properly and see if the warning disappears. I had to go to YouTube to check how to open and close the bonnet!! I had a family meeting on the 27th March 2021 and I had to go collect my family members on the 26th at Ennadale Gauteng to which when we were on our way back the car started to lose power. I called the dealership and they said I must check if the bonnet was properly closed and that the car would drive well after that. I asked them if it could be the tracker device that could be configured to lower the car’s speed and they said its possible. The car after sometime gained its power back with the same warnings driving normal as when I collected it from the dealership and I alerted Deric about it and it was assumed that the car is now 100% but will still be checked on the 29th of March 2021. As we were about to drive pass Mall of Africa, the car decided to shut down. We experienced a funny smell coming inside of the car and we open the bonnet and noticed a smoke. Myself and the family members thought that the car was running without oil as there was a strong oil smell and we also took a video and sent to the dealership (Deric) to advise. We reported to the dealer and after few hours they sent a bakkie to come check on the car and noticed that the car was driving without water (the car service history book showed a stamp that it was recently serviced a day or two ago by the same dealership). The car was pulled using a rope (an automatic car!!!) and I was left with my family on a freeway (I have proof of the pictures that I took) helplessly and there were kids onboard and police kept us company to make sure that we were safe (all this I captured on my phone). During the time when the car was being pulled the owner of the car dealership (Pieter Venter) called me and he was very heartless and didn’t care of how we would get home as he confirmed that it was not his fault that the car broke as they did have it fully serviced. I had to arrange a bolt to take us home (more that 100km away) and that was not budgeted for as I had other financially commitments. Since the car was taken from me the dealer never called me but I was the one doing numerous calls. I was getting emails from the rent to own company (called CarGet) saying that the car dealership said they told me to fill the water bottle of the car with water but I ignored them and for that they wont take responsibility and they declare the whole thing as client negligent. I called the dealer to find out why they lied about this whole thing and they said it wasn’t them who give such false information. I made arrangement to see them on the 1st of April 2021 and when I got there I was told that the owner has left for the day. I took a voice recording of the conversation I had with the Sales Manager (Deric) who sold me the car to ensure that I have proof of whatever conversation we had. I went again to the dealer on the 3rd of April 2021 without notifying them and the owner was not at the dealer but showed up after some time. Deric went to have a moment with the owner (Pieter Venter) before they could sit with me and the person that was accompanying to discuss the matter. The discussion was very terrible and I made sure that I recorded it to which at the end they used an Afrikaans language saying lock the gate so that they call the police on us as we were recording them without their permission and the dealership owner was verbally violent. They confirmed that they told me during the time I sent them the warning lights to bring back the car but claimed that I said I was rushing somewhere and that I cannot come back to the dealer!! Lots was said that did not match with the email from CarGet and also with the recordings that I took and what I was told over the phone that was not recorded. Myself and the person I went with to the car dealer fled for our lives as we didn’t know what the dealer’s intention was but it looked like they wanted to grab my phone away from me if not to harm us. I engaged with other members of a political party (which I wish not to disclose) to assist me and parallel to that I have been receiving calls from Tracker to say CarGet (Planet24) instructed them to call me to have a tracker installed on my car!! I emailed and whatspped Planet24(CarGet) (as there’s no number to call them) to alert them about this and they pretended as if it was a first time I was indicating to them about the issue at hand. They take nothing that is being said by the customers but the lies from the dealership. The dealership doesn’t talk to me directly but with Planet24(CarGet) as a middleman to try and destroy me. I’m depressed and I really wish I was never born because this is just too much. I ask myself questions as to why do we have people who would do anything to just keep money that they don’t deserve through destroying innocent families who just wanted to be happy in life after working so hard to archive what is of value for their hard work? Not this dealership communicates with Planet24(CarGet) about storage and doesn’t talk to my representatives or me directly about the vehicle to show guilt about their wrong doings. I’m depressed, I’m not doing well at work because of this. I can’t get to work as I have no proper wheels to get to work. I have kids that I’m no longer able to put full focus on because of this matter. I have a chronic mother whom requires visiting a hospital on regular basis and I’m unable because of Triple V Motors and the culprit being the Sales Manager Mr Deric (and a surname that was never disclose to me). I ask for HelloPeter to help me with this and the rest of the world to assist to put down heartless and brutal dealerships like Triple V Motors Zambezi (42 Zambesi Dr, Annlin, Pretoria, 0182 Pretoria).
