Bad experience with sales manager and challenging refund
Watch out for Turbovent, the sales manager is very dishonest an *********. I ordered a turbine for my roof which at the end was not the correct size, but besides the point. The years experience Turbovent is bragging about is questionable, because the team installing the vents, didn't have any experience working on my type of roof. It was a thatch roof, but was replaced with Harvey Tiles. The sales manager Lineth said they requested a site assessment which I don't have any knowledge of, not on the phone or not on email, as the initial order and communication was all via email. I cancelled the transaction and according to company policy I'm losing 15% of my money because it was the incorrect turbine, and they didn't do a site assessment, because if they did, I would have had the correct information for decision making and they are charging me R600 for the call out. It took Turbovent almost 3 weeks to refund my money and every day is a different excuse, or the best is, Lineth only ignores me. They made me pay the money for the turbine before they manufacture, but now they can't pay my money back. Once again, new customers, please insist on a site assessment before ordering or paying Turbovent any money. For a company working with the public, Lineth Nkomo, the sales manager, has a terrible tone with client's when caught for not telling the truth. I'll rather make other plans, than ever thinking of making use of Turbovent's services. I would just like to thank Aimee from accounts, who took responsibility and ownership of my problem, and sorted it out, not just making empty promises and hope I go away.

Turbovent
I paid Turbovent R2842.80 on 7th January for a service to my wood heater. The men came to inspect and said they needed parts and would return - they have not been back. I have called, left voice messages, whatsapp'd and e mailed repeatedly with no response. Not good service at all.

Turbovent Installers are retarded asf
Not sure if this is the Turbovent that did an installation at Silverlakes a year ago. Products are not good quality. Had to fix their **** more times than I can remember. The retarded installers should not be allowed unsupervised. In 10 years I've never seen **** work like this done before. Also the retarded retards had to borrow my ladder and then broke it. Installers looked like they came off the streets from eersterust. Turbovent you owe me a ladder. Think about that before replying to me.

I have contacted several companies to install my fireplace and very few bothered to get back to me. Turbovent immediately responded sending out a person to access the property and quote the installation. I was a bit irate because installation took longer that I would have liked, but bearing in mind that we have gone through the heaviest load shedding in years. Natasha the sales manager immediately addressed my concern and made sure that I was kept up-to-date on the progress of my order. I dealt with Luca, who accessed the property, Thulie who arranged installation and as mentioned above Natasha. In this day and age it is difficult to trust companies, especially when you have to pay a substantial deposit upfront. I would certainly recommend Turbovent, based on my dealings with them.

Faulty products, bad customer support.
I bought a fireplace from Turbovent last year. As we didn't have a cold winter last year the fireplace was barely used. This winter however when using the fireplace, we realized that the fireplace is not working or heating the area as promised but the advertising on their website. After 3 back and forths with Turbovent to try rectify the problem we still have the faulty fireplace and no answer from Turbovent. After spending over R16k you would expect better service. Please either take the unit out and refund me or replace with something that works.

Shocking service from Turbovent. If I could give it a zero rating I would. I suggest you avoid this company at all costs. They do not care about their customers and will give you a complete run-around. Then they will offer that the MD will call you, which also never happens. Not worth wasting your time and money on them.
