Disappointed in institutions efforts
I am so disappointed in the communication of the institution and lack of Consideration from the faculty. I have app**** to faculties that I overqualified for , yet haven’t received a response from them and to my surprise i called them to find out that my application was not even looked over and is in a pile of batches with other applications who must be stressed out just like me .

Requesting a Refund.
Gooday I have a very terrible experience with NWC right now,please help me if you could. I have registred with them at the starting of the year.I registred for UnivPrep programme that they offer to students that do not have enough points to enroll for the degrees that they want to enrol for at the university. I had a change of mind when i aksed them if this would help me with registering for B pharm as well and then they said no they stoped during 2019 to do a programme for B.Pharm,all our convos are on writings on my emails.I then cancelled my studies with them since I wont be getting what i need from them.They had stated before on the application form that should you have a change of mind please let them know before the 3rd of March so you can be able to claim for the refund. I did all of that and gave in a form early before the 3rd of march.for banking details I asked my husband to send his bankimg details since hes the one who paid for me but unfortunatley they needed me to claim.Well i did not waste anytime.I sent all my documents and they sent an email confirming the recived documents and promised to pay my refund on early May or exactly the 9th.All our communication is still on my emails for proof. But they did not pay anything untill today and if now i email them they are ignoring all my calls ,i had lost R7000 on them and I did not study anything with them.Please help me get my money back. Please help me.

Where do i begin... A very intelligent young man went to study at UWC thanks to NSFAS.he completed the first 4 years to get his Bachelor's Degree all thanks to NSFAS.then he decided to do his Honours Degree but their was no NSFAS money.he finished the degree in 2021 and has been struggling to get work to pay off his student debt but he finally did it beginning of this year,2025.so now the graduation ceremonies took place or are still taking place at the moment and his took place yesterday...but he was not there cause according to uwc people he did not reply in time...BUT his Uwc email account or uwc group he was part of he was blocked because of the money he owed which was paid in the beginning of the year...how can you send a message to a blocked account and expect the person to reply but he dont have access to it.he only got access last week and the rsvp date was gone already...so now he must collect the degree at admin like a reciept you get at shoprite because of such poor *********** people sending invitations to blocked accounts...whoever is in charge of that project i hope and i pray you recieve all the good things coming your way because 5years of hard work you guys make it feel like nothing... imagine how that young man is feeling at the moment because he is not getting the same recognition like everybody else...SIES...

Horrible Experience
I had a horrible time studying at this institution and I truly regretted coming to this place! I felt unwelcomed, the lecturers and the students particularly in the psychology department were disrespectful of me and looked down on me and I never experienced a sense of belonging as I was treated like an outcast. The Admin staff and HOD especially in the psychology department at the time were horrible and there was no support offered to me. NSFAS at the financial aid department also kept messing with me by misplacing my application and somehow my application got lost several times even though I should have qualified for financial aid. There is also a lot of ****** at this university as well and the environment is extremely toxic. Due to all of these things, I was forced to quit after a few months as the stress was taking a toll on my mental health! I will never set foot in this institution again and would not recommend any to study here!

UWC soccer team ride on flight to one another and impolite swearing and giggling the whole flight.
Today your soccer team UWC were on a lift flight to CT. They were rude, swearing and not congiscent of other passengers. Ooor representation of the universities and peers.
