I regret renting from this company, their Grove Mews building in Orange Grove has the worst building manager Anthony who doesn't care about the tenants, he's arrogant and very unprofessional. Treating people like animals. He's not easy to talk to. I don't know why these building managers behave like they own the properties. Work on yourself Anthony.

I moved out on the 31st of March , staying at Quartz Plaza ,I was advised that my deposit will be provided after 3weeks now it’s the 5th week. Mind you nothing was damaged, I’ve been staying there for 2 years, never been late with my rent and this is how they pay their tenants . Ive called the office so many times for the past weeks they tell me stories or transfer me voice mails. I want my money today . I’m really annoyed with the company.

I had a lease agreement at Braamfontein gates, and unfortunately there was a fire in my unit while I lived there. I was advised by the building manager there are no vacant units to accommodate me and would have to leave. I then organised for a truck and people to help move my belongings that were left, only to be told by security, on instruction by building manager Thabiso Mpopoti, that I was not allowed to take anything. Fast forward to two days later and I get a WhatsApp telling me if I don't get my stuff out in the next two days, they will be thrown out. I tried explaining that i wouldnt be able to make it that time, but Thabiso made it very clear that he is chucking out everything. I then received a rental invoice for the month and approached the manager again to ask what it was for, as I had to vacate before the month ended, and was reassured by him that I did not owe any rent. (Whatsapp conversations available) Fast forward to a year after I had left and never got my belongings, I get a letter of demand for R23000 IN rental arrears and according to the letter, UTF has been unable to get hold of me...even though they have my email and the building manager has my WhatsApp. The last statement I have from UTF reflects a R0.00 and i shared this with their lawyers. I have now been requesting UTF for the statement of the R23k for almost 4 weeks now, their lawyer has also requested but nothing. I am going to be blacklisted yet my last statement from them reflected that i dont owe them.

My name is Tebogo Moreo (contact: 069 254 842, email: chaiyatebogo@gmail.com ). I am a tenant at one of Homii’s buildings, and for the past 1 month and 2 weeks I have been without WiFi — a service that was included as part of my lease agreement. Despite multiple attempts to reach Homii through calls, emails, and even previous complaints on HelloPeter, my issue remains unresolved. I have not received any clear communication, feedback, or solution from their team. WiFi was a key amenity promised when I signed my lease, and being left without it for this long is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Tenants should not have to beg for basic services that are contractually included. I am requesting the following: Immediate restoration of my WiFi service. Compensation or rental rebate for the period I have been without WiFi. Clear communication from Homii management about the steps being taken to prevent this issue in the future. If this matter is not urgently resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate it to the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal for formal intervention. I hope Homii takes responsibility and resolves this matter without further delay. Sincerely, Tebogo Moreo

This is the worst place to stay at,i stay at Vulcan House and we haven't had electricity and water for the past 5 days. I do not even want to comment about the caretaker there, i found that guy sitting at a nearby shop drinking alcohol and saying to the person he was chatting with that we as tenants are bothersome and he just wants to drink and go to bed. What the heck is his job if he as a care taker cannot address the queries of the tenants. if you are looking for a place to stay DO NOT i repeat DO NOT consider any building owned by Urban task

I was a tenant at Bramgate flat which is situated in Braamfonten Johannesburg. In 2019-06-28 I gave a notice to vacate their flat and the caretaker gave me all the documentation to sign up the lease agreement. In 2019-06-30 I vacated the premises and the lease contract was signed of the flat was inspected and I was given the go ahead to move out by the caretaker. In 2021 may I was informed that I am owing them about R11760.29 which was accumulated from my flat from June until August 2019 and I was only contacted by debt collectors. Can you please help me since the debt they are talking about is accumulated after signing of their lease contract. I even forfeited my deposit money
