My partner and I moved into one of their buildings which is Rosedale, 1 Jan 2025,we moved out 31st December 2025,we are still waiting for our security deposit and by the looks of things we will not be getting it, because we have been to their offices multiple times and they are not willing to return our hard earned money, I'm so ****ed at that company because they say we owe them, what kind of sick mind games are they playing, the mold wasn't caused by us and we had reported it, the toilet that leaks after flushing was also reported to the caretaker but was never fixed and they are charging us for the mold that started forming on the walls and wasn't caused by us,they also charged us for cleaning but we left they place clean, i'm glad we have moved out though. We took them to small claims court and they didn't wanna sign the letter, they took it and started laughing at us, we will be returning to small claims court after 14days if the money hasn't been paid, it's fun when they tell us to pay rent and deposit within 7days after approving our application but it's not fun when we want our money back. Rude as **** stuff, thinking they are mighty, they have messed with the wrong people this time, we want our money back!!!!

Urban Task Force paid R437 for my deposit after I moved out of my apartment, out of R7500! When I left the apartment it was clean and nothing was broken. I even waited for over a full month to get my money from them and this is what they pay me. Disgusted to say the less.

Hi evening, Please note that we would like to give immediate notice to vacate the flat due to forever ongoing sewer problems that have been reported numerous times since 2014 and the managing agent has failed to relocate us or move us to a different unit. We have had to deal with this problem for over a decade hoping a solution will be found but nothing has been happening and the situation is getting worse day by day and with heavy rains today the sewer is even worse at times overflows to our bedrooms as well as damage our property, so therefore we see it necessary to leave now before more damage is caused. The people in below flows are suffering and the managing agent only cares about billing us monthly but are not responsible or able to assist the tenants with genuine complaints such as this one, the below flats must be closed completely, they are not suitable for occupation, it is a health hazard to all we not even using the bath tab to wash ourselves because the DIRTY WATER FROM ABOVE UNITS overflows to us making our water dirty at times over flood-over flow to our bedrooms, this is unacceptable and it is time that UTF takes full responsibility of this and close below units otherwise we will take the matter further should the managing agent continue leasing these units to people with proper healthy and safety measures being taken into consideration to make sure the units are safe for occupation, at present moment they are not suitable at all!!! Please take reference of the attached videos as evidence of the frustration and let us know if this place is suitable for housing people or not, from our side we have had enough and don’t want anything more to do with Pretoria Gate, this is our official notice that with immediate effect we are leaving and all our belongings will be out by the 31st of December 2025. Thank you for your attention. Kind Regards AM Mathebula Cell: 083 414 5980

poor Service and No Refund I’m very disappointed with the service I received from Urban Task Force. The communication was unprofessional, and the work promised was never completed as agreed. Despite following up several times, there was no effort to resolve the issue or process a refund. It’s frustrating to pay for a service and get nothing in return. I would not recommend Urban Task Force until they improve their customer service and accountability.

My name is Tebogo Moreo (contact: 069 254 842, email: chaiyatebogo@gmail.com ). I am a tenant at one of Homii’s buildings, and for the past 1 month and 2 weeks I have been without WiFi — a service that was included as part of my lease agreement. Despite multiple attempts to reach Homii through calls, emails, and even previous complaints on HelloPeter, my issue remains unresolved. I have not received any clear communication, feedback, or solution from their team. WiFi was a key amenity promised when I signed my lease, and being left without it for this long is both unprofessional and unacceptable. Tenants should not have to beg for basic services that are contractually included. I am requesting the following: Immediate restoration of my WiFi service. Compensation or rental rebate for the period I have been without WiFi. Clear communication from Homii management about the steps being taken to prevent this issue in the future. If this matter is not urgently resolved, I will have no choice but to escalate it to the Gauteng Rental Housing Tribunal for formal intervention. I hope Homii takes responsibility and resolves this matter without further delay. Sincerely, Tebogo Moreo

I left the building in July and told the people there that I would leave early because I was going home, I asked the several times to come and inspect my flat while I was there but they didn't show up, I left on the 26th of July 2025 after staying there for more than 5 Years even though that place was a disaster. I followed up on my deposit so many times and eventually they deposited R190 in my account this passed weekend, when I left the flat nothing was broken, EVERYTHING was in working condition, the only thing that needed to be done was painting because obviously I've been staying there for a few years. They are a bunch of ****mers, how can I receiveR190? No one from their department wants to speak to me, I've reached out, sent emails and WhatsApps about this matter, no one has come back to me, a bunch of ****mers. I want my money back or I will be taking this to the small claims court. I've been treated so unfair for someone who stayed in their building for years and never gave them trouble with rent or anything. UTF,PAY ME MY DEPOSIT!!!
