The worst service ever , The lies from the owner Vaugh To date it’s like 3 months waiting for Volvo Hillcrest or Pmb FMGH to settle my trade in which was a 2024 Ford wildtrack I don’t want anyone to go through this . To my knowledge this is ***** . Further to the above 1. Volvo customer care , still awaiting on feedback after several emails sent , doubt I’m going to get a email or call anytime soon. 2. Volvo cars FMGH then sold my 2024 Ford Wildtrack to another dealership in Pietermaritzburg and got paid . The dealership which bought the Ford Wildtrack from Volvo FMGH was concern as they have not received the log book etc , so they contacted me to find out if I know what’s the hold up as they are not getting any feedback from volvo FMGH after they made the payment. My number is 083 394 2720 . I will gladly assist with proof and give more info on the above Please look up Volvo Hillcrest on Hello Peter This is not the first time this dealership did the above

In March 2024, I purchased a Volvo CX90 and traded in my Merc 220d. I had to cover a shortfall on my trade-in, which I deposited into the dealership's bank account. However, the dealership delayed the settlement for the Merc with the bank. As a result, the bank debited my account even though the vehicle was no longer in my possession. Despite this, Volvo Hillcrest refused to refund the payment, causing me to lose more than R10K. I want others to be cautious when doing business with this dealership and advise against paying any shortfall or settlement to their account.

In March 2024, I purchased a Volvo CX90 and traded in my Merc 220d. I had to cover a shortfall on my trade-in, which I deposited into the dealership's bank account. However, the dealership delayed the settlement for the Merc with the bank. As a result, the bank debited my account even though the vehicle was no longer in my possession. Despite this, Volvo Hillcrest refused to refund the payment, causing me to lose more than R10K. I want others to be cautious when doing business with this dealership and advise against paying any shortfall or settlement to their account.

On the 31st of July 2024. I had put in an enquiry for a V40 that was marked as R 349 900. later on that day, the price jumped to R 369 900, this morning, the price is sitting on R389 900. I had requested some assistance from them, in order to do the finance application, as well as a trade in. From the get go, the sales person, Tyron, was rude, and unhelpful. I have owned 4 Volvos, all of them serviced and maintained by Volvo in Umhlanga, and I've always received excellent service. I had asked the Salesman, Tyron, to please get into contact with the guys at Volvo Umhlanga, and they will gladly give them any information regarding my current car, but i was bluntly told that Umhlanga guys have nothing to do with Hillcrest branch. Further to the above, we had done a pre approval, all that needed to be done, was for Volvo Hillcrest to contact the bank, and update the vehicle details. this guy is insisting that we have to do this ourselves. I had to submit all documents, whilst he did nothing. didn't bother following up, and re**** on us to provide everything. In chatting with other Volvo owners that have had experience with Volvo Hillcrest, they all also say the same thing, that the staff at this branch are always rude, and really not helpful. i asked to speak to the dealer principle, but was told he was at a meeting in Umhlanga, and no one got back to me. i have also been told that the dealer principle at Volvo Hillcrest is also not helpful, and is rude to customers as well.

I'm bitterly dissapointed at the lack of after sales service that I am receiving. After purchasing a used vehicle on the 10th May which needed service and a change of brakes,there's been no confirmation of when the service will be done and it's now the 25th June. The worst part is that I have to keep following up with the dealership and keep being promised "next week". The licence discs are still not changed either. The principal Vaughn has not even acknowledged my e-mail complaint and I beleive he is well aware of the matter and just choosing to ignore it.

Definitely worth the visit. Was shopping around for a new car. Visited this branch to browse the new cars in the showroom and to get some literature. Had a very good experience from the time I walked into the branch. The staff and sales team are friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable about all their products. I was informed about various options and prices. I was even told and given an about the servicing costs for different models and the extended warranty options for the vehicles. Worth the visit.

The team at Volvo Hillcrest treat their customers like family. I went to dealership to enquire about a new Volvo and was amazed at how beautiful their delearship is, not to mention how amazing the cars were too! Their staff were very polite and eager to assist me with my enquiry. The location of their dealership is situated in a convenient area, which is a plus for me. I look forward to doing business with them in the near future.
