Terrible experience at Waterfront Court Lodge and Spa. We visited for my cousin's baby shower, but the day was ruined when I lost my iphone 14 and it wasn't recovered šš. The lack of CCTV cameras hindered identifying the culprit, and the staff's conflicting statements added to our frustration. It appears one of the staff members, fami**** with the blind spots, stole my phone, and instead of taking responsibility, they protected her and prioritized the venue's image. Clearly, they need to improve security and communication. Unfortunately, our experience was subpar. Given it was my first and last visit, I won't be returning

1-star experience! My friend's iPhone went missing during a visit to this restaurant, and the worst part? No customers were around, just staff. When we asked for help, we got NONE. No effort to assist or investigate. That iPhone was worth a small fortune! Clearly, security and customer care aren't priorities here. Avoid this place!!!

1-star experience! My friend's iPhone went missing during a visit to this restaurant, and the worst part? No customers were around, just staff. When we asked for help, we got NONE. If I could give them 10 stars... I would. From reception, Thembi - to the wine pairing lunch, stay over and breakfast - was perfect. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome. The rooms are clean and spacious with every thing you need. Ten stars to the chef and waiters, you really spoil your clients. See you soon.

Decided to spend a night at the lodge as we love the Vaal river and surrounds. Found on internet and looked good so called and booked a room, very impressed upon arrival as the grounds are very neat and it feels like you are arriving at a lodge far away in the bush yet only 12 km out of V/D Bijl park next to the Vaal river. Staff extremely friendly and attentive, beautiful views and the room was spacious and clean. VIews are breathtaking and a cold beer on the deck was the order of the day. If I must nitpick unfortunately the breakfast was a bit cold and the waiter cleared our table very quickly of the sauces and spices holder to give to another table without asking if we were finished with them although we were only halfway through our meal. Salt, pepper the lot, training?. After working in the hospitality industry for 12 years it pains me to see this kind of behavior, sometimes I want to offer my services for free just to train them. :) but that aside we would go back.

The place is beautiful, but unfortunately we received the worst treatment from one of the Staff members. From the moment we walked in, we greeted here she kept quite, when we ordered just threw everything on the table, I went to the reception to report her after she gave us a false name. In the morning we greeted her she ignored us, we tried again to talk to her she just gave us attitude. We then found out from other staff members that she is like that and her attitude is always bad, her name is Julia. She made our stay very uncomfortable.

Would not recommend!! Bad service. Stuff not helpful. Reception staff all not wearing masks, no sanitizers available at restaurant table!! Breakfast was served late and as they seated us no one new what was going on!! All tables were dirty and not wiped down!! This place should not be open and running especially during the pandemic as no rules were followed!!

<p>Terrrible servive received on the weekend of the 8th of October 2106. Not once did a waiter come to take our order, We ate out of Pizza boxes with no Cutlery provided. We carried a disabled person up the stairs while the staff was just looking on, not willing to help. The manager on duty was Annelize.</p> <p>Ā </p> <p>I send numerous emails to Tammy Boyens the Marketing manager, and she never gave me any feedback as to the status of my complaint. What a terrible manager.</p>
