<p>I am from the East Rand Gauteng and normally gym in the East Rand. I recently moved to Centurion and searched local gyms in Centurion area. I managed to find Virgin Active at Reds mall and Wayne's gym in Eldoraigne area. I decided to check both out before I sign any contracts. Wayne's gym was so kind to give me a two week voucher in order to decide whether i want to become a member. Thank you guys so much! Virgin Active at Reds mall on the other hand REFUSES to let me in unless I pay almost R300 just to have a look around at what equipment they have available. All the people at reception refused me today. They won't even let me through the gate just to see what they offer in the weights section. I will never go there again. Also my girlfriend Bianca viljoen who is a member at Virgin Active Reds is going to cancel her 2 year contract there and join me at Waynes gym as soon as possible. </p>

<p>I have been debited an increased amount on my membership although I have not been with the gym for a year. after putting in a query on the 3rd of December they phoned me back today and said they can not tell me why this happens and should I cancel the debit order they will charge a penalty of R1500. I have kept paying although I am no longer a member there because I have signed a contract but they are not allowed to increase the price before a year and without notice. I am no longer in the area but they also have no exit clause for people who live in another area. They are not even willing to let you find someone else.</p>

I phoned the gym on 17 August 2015 at 6 am they open at 5am. To get my cancelation fee according to Tanya Michelle was not in and she will ask her to do it for me. after 5 calls that day to them last one at 14:00 still no answer I told them I want to pay that day.<br> Wednesday I phoned still no answer went in to find out what's going on Michelle didn't do it yet. the lady in front was very rude to me. According to them I made I scene in front the gym, I didn't there was only 3 people and I asked for my fees I want to pay.<br> After a week no answer today 24 August 2015 I phoned after 3 calls finally got my answer Michelle was very rude to me on the phone saying I must talk to her if I have problems but how can I when she's never there and her people is so rude. She was really rude and mean to me.She said this is the last time she's working it out because she done it twice now and I only have 10 days to pay. I couldn't made the payment earlier cause I didn't have to money to pay otherwise I would. In May my cancelation fee was R550 second one R590 now it is R745.
