Based on recent customer reviews, Weelee delivers a largely positive selling experience driven by standout sales agents and fast, efficient transactions. Customers praise named consultants, competitive offers, and quick payments. However, after-sales support, vehicle condition on so-called Platinum listings, and post-sale communication emerge as serious recurring pain points that materially undermine otherwise excellent front-end service.

Based on recent customer reviews, Weelee delivers a largely positive selling experience defined by speed, fair pricing, and named agents who go the extra mile. However, the buying side of the business shows a different picture, with recurring complaints about undisclosed defects on Platinum-rated vehicles, weak after-sales support, and unresolved warranty disputes that frustrate customers long after the sale.
Weelee's biggest strength, according to Hellopeter's AI analysis, is Sales & Purchase Experience. Sellers consistently praise the speed and ease of the selling process (7.7), with home inspections, instant payment, and fair offers that often beat competitors. Named agents like Clinton, Shane, Miguel and Kabir are repeatedly cited for making transactions effortless and transparent.

Really disappointed in the service I received at Weelee. On the first day everything was great, got an offer from a "Trusted Dealer" and accepted the offer. Was told the dealer would contact me and he never did. The person at Weelee assisting wasnt much help either and nonchalantly just said looks like the dealer isnt going to respond. An entire week of finding a buyer for my vehicle was wasted. If this is a trusted process I dont want to know what the alternative looks like. Afterwards, the consultant just send a generic message (even forgets to put my name and surname in) to say they havent found a buyer. Really bad service as a 1st time use. No enthusiasm from the consultant either and had to keep following up myself as to what the situation was.

Do NOT buy a car from Weelee. This has been the worst vehicle-buying experience I have ever had. The vehicle was sold to me as a “Platinum Status” vehicle, with the sales representative assuring me that there were no issues. However, after driving just a few kilometres from collection, I encountered two problems. I returned the vehicle for repairs and, after waiting two weeks, was told everything had been fixed. Upon collecting it, I discovered—again within a few kilometres—that one of the original issues had not been resolved. I informed the dealership, but was ignored for over a month, to the point where I had to show up in person to speak to management. The vehicle then went in for a second repair attempt. A week later, I was told the issue had been fixed. This time, I barely made it out of the dealership before getting stuck at a traffic light, unable to get the car into gear—and unbelievably, the original issue was still not resolved. In February, I returned the vehicle again and was informed that the clutch had failed, which was the 4th issue by this point. Keep in mind, this was sold as a “Platinum Status” vehicle. After giving the dealership multiple opportunities to fix the vehicle, in good faith, I exercised my right under the Consumer Protection Act and requested a refund within the first six months—only for my right to be denied. Out of the nearly six months since purchase, I have only been able to use the vehicle for three months, yet they still refuse to honour my right to a refund. Absolutely disgraceful!

Responded fast. Viewed the car and made an offer immediately. Offer was significantly higher than that other big company who “buys cars.” Deal concluded and money paid immediately. Simple process.
The most common complaint about Weelee, based on Hellopeter's AI analysis of recent customer reviews, is Vehicle Quality & Reliability. Vehicle Quality (3.9) is the weakest theme. Buyers report Platinum-rated cars with engine failures, clutch issues, suspension faults, brake problems, missing wheel nuts and undisclosed accident damage. DEKRA reports are questioned, and warranty shortfalls leave customers paying thousands for repairs shortly after purchase.
Weelee scores 3.4 out of 5 on Hellopeter's AI analysis of service quality in Car Dealerships, compared to the Car Dealerships industry average of 4.1. Their strongest theme is Staff Quality (4.3); their weakest is After-Sales Service (2.3). The top AI-rated Car Dealerships business on Hellopeter is Botha & Deysel Executive Motors (4.8).
